Unless you want a fabulous boutique hotel right on the ocean with awesome views, great rooms and excellent service. We've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Second floor rooms have a nice view but the ground floor allows you to walk right out onto the beach area. The restaurant is very good and the breakfasts are tasty and fresh. Wine tasting in the "library" is always entertaining and you meet the most interesting fellow travelers. The wines are pretty good too!!!

Truly the only thing that needs to be said here is do not hesitate to book a stay at the Stephanie Inn. From the perfect setting on Canon Beach -- the best location on Cannon Beach, in my opinion -- to the fantastic breakfast buffet (free with your reservation) to the impeccable service, the Stephanie Inn created a memory on our one-year wedding anniversary that will last forever. Worth every penny to make it happen. Save up if you have to, and go. Be sure to get the s'mores and beach fire included in your stay -- the bellman will even prepare the fire for you to enjoy. Will definitely go back some day. I'd tell you which room I'd recommend, but I don't want you booking it before we do ;) It was that incredible. I will say it has the best jacuzzi tub anywhere we've been.

This is a favorite destination. Couples only, on the beach overlooking Haystack Rock. The best dining room, intimate setting, personal service by the chef and staff featuring locally grown food, great buffet breakfast. Love the wine and cheese tastings at 5 in the gathering room, homemade fresh baked cookies at the front desk daily, great walking beach, and artsy shops in village. Large rooms and baths, clean and beautiful grounds. All the amenities of home!!

Room Tip: All are on the beach. We prefer second floor for view.

We try to go to Stephanie Inn at least once a year. Took advantage of their two days for price of one deal. Service, food, and accomadations were top shelf as expected. The wine tasting in tge afternoon is a great way to try some local wines and beers.

We have been coming to the Stephanie Inn for our anniversary since about 2006. It is a trip we look forward to all year. The hotel is a romantic haven for couples. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and filled with luxury touches like fireplaces and jet tubs and Temperpedic beds and iPod speaker docking systems. There are daily wine tastings (free) and night caps (free) and homemade cookies (free) and fantastic breakfasts (free). The location is perfect -- right on the beach with right-outside-your-balcony ocean views and sounds. Also, this is an expensive place to stay...but you get a great discount as a returning guest after your first stay. This is a perfect place for couples. Although they allow children 12 and older, I've never seen one staying on the property.

Room Tip: The property has 3 floors. We like the second floor best since the first floor rooms face a grassy...

We thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at the Stephanie Inn on our trip up the Oregon Coast. In our view, the Oregon coast in the brief summer sunny season is one of the country's best kept secrets. Gorgeous nearly deserted beaches, enchanting hikes, temperate rain forests, small towns, great canoeing and kayaking, and spectacular almost mystical temperate rain forests beckon at every turn. Oregon also has some very fine hotels - and the Stephanie Inn is right up there. The cost is fairly pricey, but the staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful, the beach that is steps away is magical in the morning mist, and the breakfast spectacular. The rooms themselves get all the details right, and the fire places in most rooms seem just right on a cool evening. We enjoyed eating at the full kitchen in the room followed by a walk up the beach to Cannon Beach and the famous Haystacks. Yet while close to town, Stephanie's is far enough down beach to be quiet and almost feel secluded. Cannon Beach is close to the Portland and Seattle area, but still has much of the charm of the smaller towns that prevail just to the South. This is a great place to relax and recharge, particularly just before or just after a major hiking trip. We will go back! Enjoy...

Room Tip: I am not sure how to value the extra cost for a room on the ocean. We have stayed in ocean rooms an...

The Stephanie Inn was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. We were there for two nights on our year anniversary and couldn't have had a more pleasurable experience. Make sure you book a massage, the massage therapists and the room for use up to 1 hour after transports anyone to a land void of time, care and worry. There is no need to leave the hotel whatsoever... everything you need is already in your room or brought to you by someone on their warm and friendly staff. I will come back to stay here again... and again.

Room Tip: Upgrade to an ocean view... it is breathtaking.
