My partner and I decided to visit Cannon Beach for the very first time for the Easter long weekend. They say that first impressions are everything and I can truly say that Stefanie Inn delivered excellence on every aspect of our stay.
Standard check-in time was not till 4pm however we got to there just before 2pm. We were conscious of our time of arrival and we've planned to leave our luggages at the bell desk and hang out at the beach until 4pm. When we walked into Stepanie Inn's beautiful lobby we were greeted right away and the front desk manager immediately welcomed us. A comfortable chair was offered to us while checking in (a different experience from the usual line ups and standing over the counter of most hotels ). She explained the hotel facilities and services to us including the surrounding area. She was attentive and offered to make a dinner reservation for us it being Easter Sunday. The Check-in process was very efficient. We were also delighted that they were able to accommodate us without hesitation hours prior to check-in.
Immediately after checking-in a hotel butler greeted us and helped us with our luggages. He gave a us a quick tour of the hotel (library chart room, restaurant, beach access etc.), informed us of events happening that afternoon, and finally he directed us to our rooms. It didn't stop there he took the time placed our luggages on luggage trays for us ready for unpacking. He also showed us how to use the jacuzzi, fire place, and other features that came with the room. The room itself was very beautiful and spacious.
The resort itself was beautifully located right on Cannon Beach (beach front) and an amazing view. What made Stefanie Inn memorable for me was the personal touches and privileges they provide to their guest during their stay. When I walked into our room we were greeted by a box of chocolates, flowers, and a handwritten easter greeting card. The lobby offers its guests 24 hour access to the Cookie Jar. Unlimited freshly baked chocolate chip cookies during your stay "wow i was so happy" =o)
We were also invited to a complimentary wine gathering that afternoon in the Library Chart room. It was a great way to experience and taste Pacific Northwest wines and hors d'oeuvres. Also a great way get to know the other guests. The restaurant's executive chef also came down to greet us and introduced the menu along with its culinary inspiration that evening. It made us look forward to our dinner reservation that evening even more. Dining at the Stephanie Inn was superb in taste, service, and experience. Later in the evening the hotel also offerred a nightcap service along with its great selection of premium liquors. It was such a wonderful way to unwind and end the day "Un Grand Marnier, s'il vows plaît!"
Complimentary breakfast was provided to all guests in the morning with an excellent menu selection. My favourite was the strawberry filled french toast with honey.
Our stay and overall experience at the Stefanie Inn far exceeded out expectations and we were in absolute luxury. The friendliness, service, and attentiveness of all staff was top notch. I am definitely looking forward to coming back. Thank you Stefanie Inn for making our Cannon Beach get-away a very special and memorable one.
