This landmark is huge. At low tide you will find tide pools at the East side with many colorful starfish. As the sun sets grab your camera because any attempt at photographing this beautiful landmark will turn out awesome. Cannon Beach is a quiet, quaint, clean, village like setting. You won't regret going.

Never get tired of Haystack rock!. Walks to the tidepool at low tide are a treat. Bird watching. Bonfires on the beach. Simply kicking back and enjoying the view and life.

Haystack rock is a gift to the Oregon coast and the tidepools at low tide are breathtaking! The puffins and starfish - nature at its best!

This was the best spot we found for seeing starfish and anemones (we checked Hug Point, Ecola SP, and some other beaches, too). It was windy and rainy but still lots of people out at low tide to check it out. Everyone was having fun spotting critters in the pools.

Hard to find parking. But once you find your way to the beach it is so magical. Look in the tide pools!
