I loved, loved, loved this hotel! It was simply perfect in every way! Rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable beds, lovely organic beauty products provided. Grounds were very beautiful and they even had a koi pond! The lobby is warm and inviting; there is a fire place, free cookies and coffee and even saltwater taffy! Staff are outstanding. There was a fantastic pub down the street that is a historical building. Cannon beach is phenomenally beautiful. There is also a bakery and all purpose grocery store across the street from the hotel, which met all our needs. Can't wait to come back to this place!

Hey you can't beat a a twofer deal which is what we enjoyed two nights for the price of one. But...no ocean view which n Cannon Beach is a must. I was disappointed at first that I went cheapie when I saw the view was a no ocean but an extremely well-maintained courtyard garden with water feature. That night we opened our window to hear the surf (only a block away) and to our surprise, a couple frogs were doing their spring peeping. It was lovely and peaceful with the background surf.
The staff were great, free DVDs, well cared for grounds...it's all good. If you need to save, check it out.

Wow! We received a gift certificate for our first anniversary and stayed for 2 nights at the Inn. It was also my husband's birthday and our baby girl's first birthday. The manager made sure we had presents (balloons and small gifts in our room for each celebration). We won a $50 gift card to a local restaurant because it was Mother's Day and I am a mom. Also they had an amazing spread at breakfast, quiet clean room with a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and lots of DVD's to watch. The location is right near the beach (an easy stroll). The cookies were always out in the lobby with coffee and tea. It was such a pleasure to be treated like royalty even with a baby who can fuss! Thank you for everything! We plan to make this an annual visit.

We stopped here for 2 nights on our drive down the coast.
We had booked in advance and got 2 nights for $279 so great value for the location. Other places we looked at on the beach were over $400
Its a block from the beach and our room had a view of the ocean
Check in was friendly and warm. The office always has fresh baked cookies and coffee available.
We arrived on my Birthday and they had a display of "happy Birthday" balloons, chocolate covered pretzels, and a birthday rubber duck for the tub.
We were also celebrating our recent engagement, and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. Such nice touches. We purchased two of their wine glasses.
We went for my Birthday dinner @ Newmans@988 (see separate review)
The second night we brought a pizza back to our room and watched the sunset from our dining table
Bed was very comfortable, nice linens, Jacuzzi tub was roomy and relaxing (they also provide aromatherapy soaking bath salts)
The only thing we found lacking in the room was that no robes were provided.
The breakfast was ok, but on par with the breakfast at "best Western" Freezer waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, apples and oranges, and packaged cereal.,grocery store bagels etc.
There is a fabulous bakery across the street, would have been nice to have some of their pastries/breads and perhaps a better selection of fresh fruit and granola.
All in all , it was a lovely stay. The grounds and buildings are beautifully maintained, and the staff very warm and welcoming

after checking several other places in the area, we came upon this delightful compound of charming buildings arranged around gardens, walkways and arbors. It was welcoming, clean, the room spacious and comfortable, at a most reasonable price.

Best of all, the next day staff went out of their way to let me know I'd left my laptop behind, and made arrangements to get it to me in Portland - two hours away. I was just so impressed by this and the easy camaraderie of the people I met there. The Inn at Cannon Beach was a very special find.

My family and I just got back from Portland and Cannon Beach. We only stayed for 2 nights at the Inn on their 2-for-1 deal and we only wish we could've stayed longer. We needed a pet-friendly hotel as we brought our new puppy Pumble with us and the Inn was perfect. They even provided a pet basket with treats, blankets, dog bowls and a towel.

The room we had was spacious and well-furnished although we would have appreciated more counter space. It had a microwave and a small fridge which made it convenient for small snacks. We had a small balcony which overlooked a nicely-landscaped courtyard.

The ladies at the front desk were so friendly and efficient. We arrived hours before check-in time and although our room wasn't ready, which was to be expected, the lady at the front desk gave us great suggestions for lunch and a map to help us get around town. And we did get to our room before the official check-in time.

Breakfast was simple but had everything you needed to get you started - muffins, waffles, bagels, yogurt, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold cereal. And if you want more, there's a really yummy bakery across the street - Waves of Grain and it opens at 7 a.m.
There's also a convenience store across the street which was well-stocked.

My kids also loved the Inn for its cookies and free taffy at the lobby! And the free coffee was always welcome after a long walk at the beach.

Cannon Beach is an amazing little town and the Inn at Cannon Beach made our stay perfect. Thank you!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
This beautifully wooded property at the quiet south end of Cannon Beach takes full advantage of the beauty of its' natural setting. The architecture and scale of the inn is very residential and cottage-like. Some guests have equated the feel of The Inn at Cannon Beach to a very high end summer camp for adults and families. The warm natural wood exteriors provide a rustic backdrop for the breathtaking native plants, perennials and long blooming annuals that color the property throughout much of the year. Fragrant garden paths with towering spruce trees meander between the various cabin-like buildings creating a sense of escape. The Inn’s central courtyard serves as a social gathering place for guests to come together in a beautiful woodland setting. Many find a sunlit bench the perfect spot to begin a new novel or to enjoy the wind in the trees. Our naturalized pond and it’s flowering borders is a center piece of the courtyard and attracts small wildlife and birds of many sorts. Voluptuous hanging flower baskets fill the walkways with fragrance and the occasional beat of hummingbird wings.Guest rooms are warm and inviting with all the comforts of home. The rooms are cozy and enjoyable on a stormy winter day with the fireplace ablaze and a good book. And when the sun is out, guests throw open the windows to enjoy the birdsong and salt sea air, taking their book outdoors. ... more   less
