The building was fairly nondescript, but warm and welcoming. The folks working there were friendly and the service was great. I grew up outside of Green Bay, WI and these kinds of restaurants were called supper clubs. We were seated in a nice, comfortable booth and were watered immediately. Within minutes we had our drinks in front of us and a waitress telling us what she liked the most from the menu choices. We had the ribeye steak and no appetizers. The meal came with soup, salad, bread and 2 sides. No appetizers needed. At first the steak looked different, but it was excellent. I guess I'm used to what I think a steak should look like coming from the grocers freeaer. We ordered our steaks rare and they were cooked to perfection. The wait staff was attentive and were never very far if we needed something. There was a good crowd in the place but we were taken care of quite nicely. We would definitely stop here again and I would like to try their lunch.
