“Wonderful peek at nature”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013

A great beach, with tide pools and lots of room for the dogs to run. The public bathroom leaves a bit to be desired, but it was clean and we were glad it was there!

“Tide pooling heaven.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

We were just there last Memorial Day week where we had negative tides in the mornings. The tidepooling was fantastic. It was a whole new world of sea creatures in great abundance.

Wear beach boots and step with care.

“Low tide is the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

On our drive through the Samuel Boardman State Park we stopped and explored this beautiful and secluded beach with unique rock formations and tide pools. There are picnic tables and restroom facilities and a nice grass area that is very clean and plenty of parking. There is a gentle path to the beach which is just perfect for a get-a-way. Only one other couple was there when we arrived. There is nice wave action against the rocks and this provides a great photo opportunity. It was not our favorite stop because it's competition is the Arch rock and Natural Bridge, but it was very nice indeed. No fee.

“Loved this one!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

Thanks to a good friend who lives in Brookings, she suggested we check out this beach that is kind of hidden in a little cove. If you are looking for someplace to enjoy the sand and water that is a little less windy, this would be the place. Not very good for kite flying however since the wind blowing into the cove isn't very predictable. :-)

“Fabulous!”

Other reviews have said it all - this is a marvelous beach. I grew up in a California beach town, and even I was impressed. :)
