When I saw the Lodge surrounded by snack and fudge shacks, I thought, let's get out of this Disney-like area and have a nice quiet lunch. Well, we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table and the waiting are was a nice couch by a fireplace (score 2 pts so far). Then we reviewed the menu and remembered this is a park, so no wine (subtract a point). the menu was sandwich, soup, and salad focused. So, we are a zero for the day. Reload and decide we are going to eat and not dine.
Here is where it gets better. The hamburger ($12) and Chicken salad sandwich ($12) with two lemonades total $29.00..a little pricey to just eat. They were good and we were so hungry we forgot about the wine. The waiter was excellent and did his very best to make sure we were satisfied. The dessert menu looked very inviting, but we only have dessert when we dine. Give it a try, but many others elect to bring a picnic...with a bottle of wine, maybe?

We ate lunch at the lodge. The cost was a bit high for what we got, and there weren't a lot of choices. If you're hungry I wouldn't hesitate to stop, but don't expect a meal that will be as memorable as the falls it sits beside.

The Multnomah Falls Lodge is in a great location. The falls are spectacular and well worth seeing, and the Lodge is a convenient place to have lunch while visiting the falls. Sitting outside on the patio and looking at the scenery is memorable. The restaurant offers a wide selection of food, and with the right choice, one could have a very good meal. My husband had a grilled ham sandwich and said it was excellent - very tasty and a good sized portion. I had a chicken salad sandwich which was dry and tasteless, so obviously there is some variety in quality of the meals. Not sure how to know ahead of time which items will be tasty or not, but we love stopping here on our way up the Columbia Gorge and will continue to stop by for lunch, regardless of the occasional disappointment.. Service was fine, considering it's not a fine dining establishment.

This is a great place to catch lunch as you travel the Mt Hood and Columbia Gorge loop. The Salmon appetizer is plenty for lunch! ( the view is unbeatable!)

Lunch at Lodge was a special treat very touristy but fun to be there and watch all the people. Food o.k. tourist pricing. Service good.
