Worth the drive! Parking very limited; arrive early. Earlier the better. Path only .2 miles to bridge with easy paved switchbacks. Handicap accessible. Can go further to the top.

When you think of Oregon Multnomah Fall got to be on top of your bucket list
The most Iconic photographed in the state of Oregon make the trip and see it for your self
Located in the gorge, you'll have amazing views driving here. The site itself has been a tourist attraction for over 100 years and it feels like it. This falls somewhere between natural site and Disneyland. On a nice day, expect large crowds. While the number of people may cause you to wait your turn for the spot where you can take the best selfie, they don't really obstruct the overall view. There is plenty of parking. The main building features a nice small interpretive center, restrooms, and restaurant.
We tried to go to the falls a couple of times during the week we were in Oregon, but unfortunately signs were up that the lot was full and it was super overcrowded. I was determined to go so we got there about 7:00 or 7:30 AM on a Friday Morning. There were only about 5 cars in the parking lot.
The great thing about this fall is if you have someone elderly with you or someone that can't walk super far, they can just walk through the parking lot, through the tunnel and a few more yards and they are at the bottom of the falls to take glorious pictures.
We actually hiked up the full trail, it has a ton of switchbacks and all uphill on the way. Even if you are not an avid hiker as long as you go slow and took breaks you could still hike this, as it is a very clear path along the way.
I love to hike so of course I wanted to hike to the top but in all honesty the view up there did not do justice to what the bottom portion and even the middle where the bridge was at did.
Very glad I finally got to experience seeing this beauty, get up early it is so worth the trip!
Was on my bucket list of one of the sights I wanted to see while in Oregon - Was not disappointed ...
We got here early (around 7:30AM) and hiked to the top. It was lovely and I really appreciated seeing it before it got too busy. I would say you could probably get there before 8:30 and still be good without the crowds.
