“I made it to the top.....”
Reviewed April 1, 2012

Too bad it rains daily here in March, I had to make do with that. Did the falls trail hike to the top just to say I did it. It is worth it for sure. The view is special and the mountain stream is the way you want it to be "perfect"
We did not have time for lunch in the upstairs dining room but if the trip to the top did not take this old guy so long I'm sure it would have been very good, a huge wood burning fireplace with the damp air made the place inviting, we'll do it next time.

“Great place to visit”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

We drove from Kirkland,WA about 31/2 hours drive on a Saturday. Parking lot was packed but we were still able to find a spot (around 11am). The visitors center is small but worth the visit. You can get information about plants, and wild life from the area.
The hike up to the falls and to the bridge was easy for us. Hiking up to the top was more challenging. If you choose to go up to the top you can do it in your own pace. The view worth the effort. Bring a good hiking shoes and water proof warm jacket with hat because there is a constant sprinkle of water coming from the falls.

“Picture Perfect <3”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

Every picture you take of the magnificent site will look like it was professional; You could snap a picture and easily get a way with using it for a postcard if you wanna get crafty and save some bucks.

The 'Falls' are a timeless beauty and full of good ole' Pacific Northwest history! Print off some information on the Multnomah falls and save it to read while on your hike; you will enjoy every step a little bit more knowing that you're creating footprints inside of Lewis, Clark & Sacajawea's.

“Come early!”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Multnomah Falls can get busy. Come early and avoid the crowd. I've been there for sunrise and besides getting better pictures, I had the place completely to myself. I snapped my pictures and then went into the lodge for breakfast. It's perfect!
