We stopped at Takoda's after hiking around Clear Lake. We weren't pleased with the selection and people at the Clear Lake Resort cafe and promptly left there after rude behavior of the staff. Takoda's was friendly, fairly fast, and good food. A great place to stop after a hike and only about 20 minutes West of Clear Lake.

Loved the food and garden area....would go back. I really enjoyed the fact that the waiter was able to tell us to try the golf course
.i took the family there and it was a blast

We come to the area at least once a year. After staying in our favorite cabins at Cedarwood Lodge and a long hike, we love to go to Takodas. Great black bean burgers! Fries are amazing and love the pizza! We have never eaten anywhere else! Honestly!

The food can be good but not always, (a lot of it comes off a SYSCO truck) the staff are nice but don't really know much about food (young staff). I asked for a simple change to my food (no chease sauce on something) and they couldn't do it?

There is not a lot in the way of restaurants and bars in this area (our rafting guide told us they have a strange tendency to burn down) so we really did not have high expectations when we walked into this place. But the food was really great--we ate there 2 nights in a row and loved everything we tried. They have a decent selection of microbrewed beer and a lovely garden to sit in outside with plenty of big tables. The service was very good as well, and the prices reasonable.
