My family skis at Mt. Bachelor for a week every year, and we have stayed in Sunriver in various rental houses for the past 15 years. This year, we decided to stay at the Seventh Mountain Resort for a change, and we selected a two bedroom condo. The property and the condo were both very nice, similar to many other mid to upper level resorts I have stayed at. The drive to Mt. Bachelor is very easy, and access to Bend is quick as well. There was nothing wrong with our stay, but we missed the space and privacy of having an entire rental house with a hot tub to ourselves. We probably won't be back, since the cost of the vacation was the same as renting a house in Sunriver, and we felt like a rental house was a better value.

This was the second time I stayed here for a snowboarding trip. This time, we stayed in a 3-bedroom condo that was perfect for the 8 of us. Every room had a flat screen TV and clean sheets and blankets. Everything was clean. Room service was speedy. I would recommend others to this resort.

We stayed in room 1715 from 12/27/12 to 12/30/12 to ski mt bachelor for a family get away. We were given a first floor handicap room. I am not handicapped and preferred another room. When I asked for another room, we were told none were available. The heater in the room made so much noise, we did not keep well for 3nights. The faucet in the bedroom was broken. The cleaning crew left our door ajar for the day and forgot to provide us with towels and coffee. We spent $230 per night and they would not provide an air mattress for my son. So he slept on floor for 3nights. Of course we tried to make it comfortable for him. Left a message for manager.... Who never called back? No amends were made to price...

Room Tip: Go to sun river or select other hotels just a little further down central

While it is obvious this guest had some frustrations while visiting Seventh Mountain Resort, it is impossible for staff to respond of they are not made aware of all issues or concerns. On the arrival night the guest did ask about other accommodations but due to very high occupancy changing rooms was not an option. The guest also mentioned a concern about the heat and resort staff offered to send a maintenance person to investigate. This offer was denied by the guest. Management did attempt on three different occasions to follow up on the heating issue but the guest did not respond. At no time were any other issues brought to management attention, including during the checkout process.

We stayed here Christmas week. Very pleasantly suprised at how close resort is to everything. Then again, everything in Bend is within a 20 minute drive reach! We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo with full kitchen and bath. Updated quality furniture and fixtures with a balcony. We were lucky that it snowed our entire stay so it was very much a winter wonderland for us. Resort wasn't busy which we liked! One morning we decided to have breakfast at one of their restaurants and was pleasantly surprised at the food, service and price. Would highly recommend couples or families to stay here.

Room Tip: We stayed on top floor in building 21. Great location, not close to pool or foot traffic.

We have stayed at 7th Mnt many times over many years. It remains our favorite place to stay in Bend. We bring our bikes and ride from the resort into town, feed the ducks at Drake park, eat and ice cream down town. Often we bike to the Old Mill and on the way back to the resort explore the homes on Wiji golf course. We also like to go up on Mt. Bachelor, take the ride to the top, lots of pictures. But the Resort at 7th Mtn is comfortable, affordable, accessable, and family friendly. Lots to do with the amenities right there. We give it a big thumbs up!

We love this resort! It can be expensive, but it's got the pool and hot tub......and lots of other attractions at the resort, probably awesome if you have kids. Best part are the trails out the back door of your room with lots of beautiful scenery. It's close enough to downtown Bend for good restaurants (didn't eat at the resort) and fun (bars!) but it feels remote and secluded. Only caveat is if you rent a room from someone who has a timeshare (not sure how you stay through Seventh Mountain - we always used Horizon Rentals), you'll have to play by their rules and deal with what they have in the room..........ie: the dishes (or lack there of), the TV (could be ancient!), and the no ipod dock. It is what it is I guess!

Needs: bathroom -only three 3 wash clothes for a 5 day stay;
-finish cleaning the toilet (heavily caked on cleanser applied -not wiped off);
-mirror poorly cleaned;
-not dusted well.
furniture -two lounge chairs and couch very stiff and uncomfortable;
-no table and chairs to eat at in dining area;
-bed WAS very comfortable.
bugs -millipedes in bedroom and kitchen.
patio -furniture not cleaned area unswept.
restaurant -3 options but none open at noon when we went for lunch.
We got charged a $65.00 cleaning fee which was part of the deal for a 5 day stay. It was hardly worth it.

Nice parts: beautiful setting, well kept grounds, interesting walking paths, comfortable bed, generally quiet.
M and B.

Room Tip: Stay for 7 days. Maybe service will be better. And do not be hesitant about complaining as needed.
