Tried this pub after seeing the crowd at 10 Barrel. Very pleasantly surprised. The friendly staff, delicious food, great beer list, and several tvs showing different games all played into a great visit. Have since been back and all of our food has been delicious--love their specials!

Being locals we try to go to all the area pubs. Brother Jon's is a very good place. It can be crowded and loud because it's small, but the beer, food and people are all good! Tonight my husband & I met after work. Luckily, he got the last open table and didn't have to wait. I joined him a few minutes later. He had a Backwoods Logyard IPA ($4.50), a 10 Barrel Pray for Snow ($4.50) & a French Dip ($10), his favorite sandwich, w/soup ($1.50). I had a diet pepsi ($2) and a bbq pork sandwich ($10) which came with fresh veggies and cole slaw. My bbq pork was so full the meat was spilling out of the bun and I needed a fork and knife to eat it. It was very good. We would have ordered dessert but we were both so full. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here.

The service was competent and helpful. The food is excellent with large portions. I am told the beer they make is very good. The place is comfortable and reasonably priced. What more could you want.

Four of us met here on a Friday at 6:00. There was a 45 minute waiting list...and it took 45 minutes. It was crowded and loud inside. The surroundings were very plain, nothing to relax into and make you feel at home or in a special place. The food was so-so, also nothing to rave about. Burgers (choice of beef, chicken, salmon, or black bean) dominate the menu. Unless you want chips with your burger, you pay for an "upgrade" to soup, salad, fries, etc. Definitely not impressed, and can't imagine wanting to go back with so many other great options in Bend.

It was tough to find, but once we pulled into their tiny parking lot we were surrounded by locals having lunch. We opted for the corn chowder, Pork Verde Burrito and a Green Flash Hop head Red Ale...and an Apple Crisp ala Mode split 4 ways. Everything was quite delicious and served with a smile. The beer selection is quite amazing, even to a guy who worked in the brewing industry for 30 years.
