“Great Value”

This was our third year spending several days in Bend. In past years we have stayed in an upscale B&B. This year we choose the Ameritel Inn just above the river. We were delighted. Large clean up to date room. Beautiful indoor swimming pool. Free business center. Complete buffet breakfast . Great location. Excelent helpful staff. All at half the price of our previous stays in Bend. Can't wait for our next visit.

In many ways, the rooms at this property are very much like what you would find in a Hilton Garden Inn; reasonably large, with a good work desk, comfortable easy chair, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel is not easy to find unless you have GPS in your car; it's near the redeveloped Mill district. Frankly, the location is a big plus, as you do not get any noise from traffic or trains as is the case with most of the other motels along 3rd street. The bed was quite comfortable. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast service that offered good selection and quality. Front desk staff was personable yet efficient. The property offers plenty of free and convenient parking. I travel to Bend regularly and I've been hunting for a good place to stay. As far as I am concerned, this is it.

My husband and I along with our two young sons stayed at the Ameritel Inn last week for an eight night stay. We loved Bend as much as we loved the hotel. The setting is perfect. We were greeted every morning by a view of the snow covered Cascade range from the window of our suite. The suite itself is wonderfully equipped with 2 bedrooms offering king sized beds, a full kitchen and a small living room area with a large flat screen TV. The bathroom was standard with the exception that there was an extra sink and vanity in one of the bedrooms. The only drawback was that for accomodations that size, there should be more drawer space. My parents were also staying at the hotel, (along with numerous other family members) and they had a standard sized room with two queen beds. Even their room had a small refrigerator and was generous in size. The swimming pool was comfortably warm and a good size, along with a large spa pool. The hotel offers a full breakfast every morning (not a continental disguised as one) and serves up several varieties of freshly baked cookies after 5pm. The staff is very, very friendly and considerate of the guests' comfort. Suggestion: the "general store" in the lobby may be convenient, but is pricey. There are plenty of shops (not only in the nearby Old Mill district, but a few streets away is a store named Fred Myer, which has everything from groceries to a department store-type goods. Excellent restaurants, shops and a beautiful river walk are behind the hotel and easily reached within a minute on the paved path outside the door. We had a great trip and hope to be back again.

A beautiful structure, complete with a 24 hour pool. Next to the pool was a well equipped exercise room. Our king suite had a kitchen with STAINLESS STEEL appliances! We were treated with respect, kindness and courtesy throughout our two night stay. One minor blip/gap in the bathroom pocket door, was fixed in a timely manner.
Home baked cookie aroma permeated the gorgeous lobby, at 5pm, and the treats tasted as good as they smelled!
The breakfast was like a buffet at a fine dining restaurant! Complete with a hostess pouring more coffee to those in need! All included in the price of a room.
Young children were welcomed and also treated with as much respect as the adults.
We did not take advantage, but we heard it had free wireless internet as well.

A high class hotel, for a VERY reasonable price... we were given the king suite, (8 extended family total), for the price of a queen.

This is place which I could not more highly recommend for anyone traveling!

Great Hotel, awesome amenities, friendly staff. The breakfast had all of the options. GM offered to hook us up at some of the private golf courses in the area after he saw us with our clubs in the hallway. Very convenient access to Old Mill District - a trendy mall with current trendy shops, restaurants and movie theatre.

I stayed here twice in one month. Loved everything about it. Front desk staff are nice and helpful. Breakfasts are very good. Rooms are large and the beds are so comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. It was very quiet. Convenient to restaurants and shopping at Old Mill area, close to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
