“Love at first glass ... wish I could take them home with me”

If you are looking for a trendy tourist spot go elsewhere, but if you are looking for great beer look no further. Boneyard is located in a small garage-type building in the middle of a neighborhood and parking is limited. They don't sell food and they don't have seating. What they do offer is the best beer in Bend. The Hop Venom double IPA was my favorite. The T-shirts are really cool, too. We were visiting Bend for a Bike and Brew MTB tour and it was the highlight of our trip. A few days after arriving back home in NorCal ran across a story in the Washington Post about Bend and Boneyard was one of only two local microbreweries they mentioned by name. Can't wait to return and when we do Boneyard will be our first stop.

“Just a tap room”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

It was just a tasting room, no place to sit and the beer was just okay. The location was hard to find, and they close at 6.

“Fun little brewery”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We recently spent a week in Bend, and a highlight of the trip was doing the Bend Ale Trail. Four of us had a blast visiting the breweries on the list (plus a few others), and Boneyard was a highlight. We enjoyed sampling the brews and talking with the owner/brewmaster, the visiting cyclepub, and were tempted to come back for the Wednesday night growler night, when they usually get a hundred+ folks coming by to fill up their growlers for a very good price. A few days later we were at the Elk Lake Resort, and got to try the Boneyard Double IPA, which just may be the best beer we sampled all week.

“Fun and relaxed!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

What a great atmosphere - really relaxed and the beer is amazing! Try the pepper beer - if you like heat, this is for you. The staff are so easy going and being a small place gives a great atmosphere!
