My wife and I were looking for a place to retreat. We had a wonderful time. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. We would love to come back soon! #10 The King Room was perfect. It had a private bathroom and was close to the spa!

The Mill Inn is a welcoming, cozy and eclectic place to stay while in Bend. The reviews are spot on, definitely a good value. The breakfast the staff puts on is simply fantastic and stands a very tasty reason to visit.

Room Tip: A few rooms have I suite bathrooms, which is worth the extra charge.

This place is located close to everything Bend. The host himself took us on a long mount bike ride on the best trails around. The gourmet breakfast was unbelievable. Not overly fancy, tastefully furnished and very clean! Can't beat the price!

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights the first weekend in October and had a great time. Very cozy B&B with wonderful hosts...who accommodated all our needs. Superb 7-course breakfast with tasty home cooking. Nice relaxing hot tub after our day hike. Within easy walking distance of downtown Bend. We look forward to stay again next time we visit Bend. Thanks for a great time & Cheers!

What a surprising and amazing find! After driving to Bend based on the suggestion of our white water rafting guide 3 hours north in Hood River, we went to an outdoor outfitter to look for camping spots. All national parks were closed due to the federal government shutdown and, given our brief time in town, they recommended the Mill Inn just around the block and we were blown away by the warmth of which we were taken care of!

The inn is great - very very clean, slightly quirky and perfect size. The price was right, too, given that it included a 7 course breakfast. If that was it, we would have been happy and content--- but it wasn't. Zane, the host and owner of Mill Inn, has found his calling. Not only did he have amazing reccomendations of where to eat and drink, but he overheard us talking about renting mountain bikes and going out. Zane not only offered to help us get the bikes, but he also offered to drive us to the bike shop to rent the bikes and transport them to the trail head for us. Amazing, right? It doesn't stop there. Zane also said he would be happy to guide us. What a host!

He advised us on what bikes we needed (saving us $15 on each rental), transported them to the stunning Deschutes River Trail near his home, hopped on his own bike and guided us for over 2 hours. He was beyond patient with the newbie's and the over excited photographer in our party and was able to talk about geology, geography, wildlife and more.

We stayed out later than expected (because it was so great) and allowed us to stay late to shower and even took the bikes back for us without us having to follow.

If you are a couple and/or adventurous and are looking for non-pretentious yet charming and warm accommodations in Bend, this is your place. We cannot wait to come back!

Room Tip: We thought roadside rooms would be slightly noisy (being from Chicago, we actually wanted that) but...

Interesting old mill hotel with food served downstairs in the main rooms and all sleeping accommodations up a steep flight of stairs. We stayed two nights which meant that we got to have TWO breakfasts fixed by David, the owner of the Mill Inn. The food was superb - and there was plenty of it! Be SURE you take a scone - David excels at scones! Although this sits on a busy street, I had a great night's sleep in the one room with a king-sized bed. There's a terrific coffee bar right across the street as well if you're needing a coffee lift mid-day. Trips to nearby tourist attractions are easy and there's no problem getting around Bend on foot or by car. We would definitely stay here again. Only caveat....BE SURE to remember the door code sent with your reservations. We had some difficulty getting in because we'd neglected to bring that with us but my sister arrived to stay in the adjoining room and all was well.

Room Tip: Rooms on the right-hand side of the stairs are off the street.

We are very seasoned travelers and are on the road quite a bit spending time camping in our RV and every 3 or 4 days we stay at a B&B. We just returned from Bend, Oregon area camping in several State and National Parks. We took a break and spent the evening at the Mill Inn B&B and I have to say the service, the accommodation, and the service was outstanding. We have stayed at over 100 B&Bs across the country and I would rate the breakfast at the Mill Inn as a top 5 experience. Great location and great people -- highly recommended
