“In a town loaded with pubs this is one of the best”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Small but hand picked and constantly rotating taps. You will find something to drink. Nice curving bar with a scattering of bar tables allows for four to have a tibble and a nibble. Menu has some not typical bar food which is a welcome surprise. Huge bottle selection next door as well as some more family friendly tables (although you lose the vibe in that room). Table service is spotty, sometimes slow and the food can be uneven at times. For these reasons I've dropped down a peg but that should scare you away. Great little pub.

“Awesome vegan food!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

We went here for dinner on Sun., Nov. 3rd 2013. After browsing their menu on the website I was excited to try it out as there aren't a lot of restaurants that offer many vegan dishes. I had the Tamale Pie and a house salad with the sherry vinaigrette dressing. The dressing is awesome and the tamale pie was excellent too! Great flavor sand very filling! Great value for the price.

“Very good food and beer selection”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We tried this place particularly because we looked a the menu on line and it was very vegetarian friendly, as my wife is a vegetarian. Many places say they are veg friendly and that means you can get something with cheese and beans or a salad. This place actually provides real vegetarian options, with some of the many veggie protein options, like smoked maple tempeh. I am not a vegetarian, but I often eat vegetarian when I can get THIS kind of vegetarian. In this case, though, the lamb kabobs were too good to pass up, with an excellent roasted red pepper lentil sauce. Nice beer selection on tap, also. Some tables outside, but atmosphere not its strong suite.

“Wow this chef can cook!!”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Yes, this place won't run out of beer but its the food that will keep us coming back. We had a late lunch here and were impressed with the quality and creativity of the food. I had a farm fresh salad that was to die for. It tasted like they had just picked the greens out of a garden and the quinoa strips on top were tangy and flavorful. My husband had the philly steak sandwich and it was loaded with tender meat. We tried the avocado and cucumber cold soup which really hit the spot after walking around in the 95 degree weather. Can't wait to come back and try other menu items. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming looks like a good place to meet up with friends. Service was friendly and helpful.

“My new favorite restaurant!”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

It is so hard to find a place that serves good healthy food, but look no further! Yes, they have hundreds of different beers in bottles & cans. But their menu is not just unique, its really tasty! They cook their meat on a Traeger (big fan, I own two), and they have vegetarian & gluten free entrees, too. We had a tasty bowl of curry spinach soup, hummous pizza, and oat crepe. We couldn't decide which we liked the best! Just sent out a massive e-mail letting my local friends know about this little hot spot. We are definitely going back.
