Easy to find. The views of the mountains and lake are so picture perfect. They look like a postcard. We walked around the lake which was about 1-2 miles with views the whole way. We wished that we had our dogs with us as a perfect place for them. A few picnic tables to have lunch. Would definately go again!

This is not a big, grand lake, but something your eye can take in at once. Very quiet on a fall weekday, and an easy walk from the parking lot to the lake. We just sat in the quiet and enjoyed!

This is a great place to see wildflowers once the snow begins to melt from the Cascade Mountains. The lake is easy to reach and a great spot for family outings. You can opt a walk around the lake or take the trail to the right to head above the lake and into some beautiful meadows. Photographers will love the reflections of peaks such as Broken Top in the lake and children will enjoy watching mayflies hatch or splashing in the shallow cool waters. However, beware the mosquitoes as summer progresses.

Todd Lake is a tiny, almost-hidden jewel just west of Bend. It was more crowded than we expected for a Sunday, but once we made the very short hike to the lake, it seemed almost empty of people. My husband and grandson tried a little fishing (bought a one-day license at the sporting goods store), but didn't have any luck. I enjoyed the calm beauty and the exquisite shades of blue of the lake and the sky reflected in it. We'd been warned of mosquitoes, but wore repellant and weren't bothered at all. Dragonflies flitted above the water's surface and we could hear distant voices of those who were hiking around the lake. A cooling breeze came up just about the time it seemed to get a little too warm. I took photos of Mt. Bachelor, flowers, the lake, and my family enjoying themselves. We really should have brought a picnic lunch--maybe next time!

Todd Lake is a little gem with Mt Bachelor overlooking it. It's about a mile around & an easy walk. If the wild flowers are blooming in the meadow on the far side, you're in for a treat, it is a beautiful sight! The water (like all of the amazing Cascade Lakes), is crystal clear, good for swimming or paddling.
