We have tried to go to this pub for dinner the last three times that we visited Bend but we didn't like the wait time. This time we tried to plan around it and went in determined. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some beer while we waited with our poor children. We tried 'Swill' which was a little too fruity for our tastes. We loved the Dubble. It was very hoppy but not too bitter. They let us order the kids food early and served it on the patio. We signed in at 7:15 and were seated at 8:45 for dinner. We were told it would be a 60-90 minute wait ahead of time. The waiter was very apologetic and was as attentive as he could be with an over capacity crowd. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had the prawn salad. Both were fine. It has a really fun atmosphere and great beer. I would go again just for appetizers and beer on the patio.

We are longtime Bend residents, and among the zillion brewpubs here in Central Oregon, 10-Barrel is our favorite. With big garage-type doors that roll up during good weather, the ambiance is outdoorsy and casual. It's a fun place that's a perfect fit for this recreation-mecca mountain town. However, because they are so danged good and constantly packed seven-days-a-week, we rarely go there. Expect to wait an hour or more for a table----even during summer when outside seating expands availability. These guys craft excellent beers, with the light, citrusy-flavored "Swill" being a refreshing summer favorite. And to our tastes, the Sinister Black Ale goes perfectly with their top-notch pizzas. But PLEASE 10-Barrel, open up a second brewpub in Bend to thin out the crowd a bit. SOON! When it's easier to nab a table in a reasonable length of time, we'll dine/drink there much more often.

Service was slow and we had to wait a long time for them to clean and make a table available - good selection of local microbrews.

My husband and I have been here multiple times, typically bringing family & friends from out of town. We always warn about the wait but you can order beer & pizza from the bar if that's an issue to you. We typically have a beer while we wait to get in and it is perfect, you actually get to enjoy the ambiance. The steak nachos are to die for, SO good!! Overall an amazing establishment, go here to relax and have good food & beer. Don't go here if your expecting to rush in, devour your food and go pass out. This is not a chain, this is the real deal and it fits perfectly in Bend!

You can go to 10 Barrel for a beer, but not to eat! You will wait an hour or more to be seated, and then another hour to get any food. The kitchen is way too small to handle the crowd. You will see empty tables and seats all about, but they don't keep the crowd moving. Tables go uncleaned. They are short on staff. It is a lively place, and has great beer, but like I said, do not go there hungry. Eat first!!!!!!!!! And even if you get food, it is ok. Our Margharita pizza had no cheese. It was like eating crust with a little sauce, and some basil sprinkled about. Should have sent it back, but I was starving by that time. I live nearby, and have given 10 Barrel many attempts, but it has not changed for the better.
