Four of us stopped here for lunch on the Bend Ale trail. Decided to sit outside, but it was too cold (and, contrary to what their website says, unheated), so we retreated indoors. The food was ranged from OK to good. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the seasonal beer sampler - five beers, none of which was drinkable. The other husband ordered the regular sampler - five beers, only one of which was good (the IPA). That's a .100 batting average, which isn't good in baseball - or beer.

On the Bend Ale Trail, we visited just about lunchtime on a weekday. We had friendly service in the bar (although our servers weren't terribly knowledgeable about the different beers). We ordered a tasty sampler plate of snacks: hummus and pita and various veggies, which was very good. My husband and I have sampled brews and had meals here in past years; it's a very pleasant place to while away an hour or two, and is conveniently located.

Walked across the street from Town Place Suites for a mid-week dinner at Cascade Lakes. No wait to be seated for what turned out to be good food and brew. Place is kind of open in table placement in a larger setting. We started off with the fried oysters; about 8 fried crispy on the outside and soft in the middle: excellent for 9 bucks! Chicken Avocado sandwich was very good and the elk burger with bacon was good, cooked to still have some pink in the middle for what tends to be a drier burger. They do the food quite well. And the beer is nice in a town where you get spoiled on delectible ale. I got the amber which was to my liking. Our server J.B (or B.J) was great, really a genuinely nice guy with good recommendations. This place is a great choice if you don't want to hassle with waiting a ridiculously long time yet still desire to have a good meal and microbrew.

We stopped in for beer and dinner. The service was very fast and friendly. Our food was good. Happy hour features half off on appetizers, a great deal. The beer was excellent-- Indian Summeer Pale and Project X. Both yummy.

Went here twice and enjoyed the food and beer. Kids were happy with their choices also. Service was just right. No wait to be seated, a big plus. Large portions of tasty food.
