Thank you for the great review and glad to hear we exceeded your expectations!
This is a nice place to spend a few hours learning about the history of the Northwest, and the Oregon Trail. You can see how settlers, natives, and miners lived centuries ago. You can also see quite a few examples of the areas wildlife, like Bald Eagles, Bobcats, & Otters. Check the website to see any new exhibits they have coming. Also, many of the site are outdoors, so check the weather to see if you want sunscreen, a coat, or both.
Thanks for the great review and for pointing out that because there are outdoor exhibits, dress for the weather.
took a side trip and stopped in to check it out. Well worth the small fee to get in. the tours are fun and the gift shop has fun cook books.
Thanks for the great review. Where else can you buy a Lewis and Clark Expedition cookbook or one on woodstove recipes?!
It's named a museum but your kids are in for a treat seeing everything from wings to fins. This is an extremely fascinating place.
Thank you for your great review. Yes, wings to fins and more! And then there is the living history aspect with the Miller Ranch set in 1904 and the living history characters keeping that time alive!
Lots of different exhibits, from live animals to old time village where you can do like the pioneers did. Kids loved it!
Thanks for taking the time to write a review and nice to hear the kids had a great time here!
Very detailed exhibits. Great place to take the family, of any age.
From the otter exhibit to the "Walk through Pioneering" exhibit, lots to see.
Thank you for your good review.
