This apartment provided a pleasant, low cost base for winter recreation in Sunriver. The mostly new floors, kitchen, and furnishings showed good taste and quality. The beds, linens and towels felt soft and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. The combination living/dining/kitchen room handled 2 people comfortably. Four people would be the maximum. The bedrooms felt good in size. Bathrooms ran a bit small. The lighting, wifi TV and sound system worked well with accurate instructions. The heater was a little slow to warm up, but maintained the heat well during the very cold and snowy week.
The well maintained complex consisted of 16 buildings with 8 units each. This unit is #6 in the I building. The parking lot is about 25 yards from the door. We rarely heard noise from neighbors. The apartment is located next to the pool and hot tub, but the views consist mostly of nearby buildings.
The location of the complex in the business park worked surprisingly well for us. It was easier to drive to than the resort and close to the gas station. We enjoyed hiking and cross country skiing the trails behind the complex. To access the Sunriver resort walking trails, we walked 3 short blocks and crossed the main road at the signal.
The rental agency is out of the area but responsive to phone calls. They have little more information than the listing. Check in and out was easy. The lock code system needed patience. We ended up writing the 10 digit entrance code in a handy place.
I recommend this rental for a small family or group who prefers a low budget alternative near, but not in a resort setting.
