“Great Mountain!”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

We had an excellent time at Mt. Bachelor! The lift tickets might seem expensive, particularly on a holiday weekend, but there are a TON of run so it's actually pretty reasonable. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the operations are well planned and the mountain is a LOT of fun. It was pretty cold and windy while we were there, but we still had a wonderful time. The cafes and bar in the lodges were appreciated, the food was good and the people friendly. Definitely a mountain you don't want to miss!

“Let it snow!”
Reviewed January 16, 2012

This is the best ski area in the Pacific Northwest. Great runs for everyone and spectacular views. The Cascades may not have the driest snow, but the mountain vistas beat the Rockies. No ski from your condo to lifts here (or long lines), rather pristine beauty without a hundred condos lining the runs. Stay in Bend and have fun in a real town! It's only a 25-minmute drive to the mountain or take the bus for $11 roundtrip.

“Nordic Trails”
Reviewed January 16, 2012

We had done one day of a ski park nordic trails and wanted to try some groomed trails so headed to Mt. Bachelor's park. They have lots of trails that are great for beginner-intermediate. One thing I noticed is that the admission price is cheaper noon onward and the crowd is different. Mornings you have the season pass/competitive skiers. Afternoons, beginners, people who are more into having fun.

“Great place to play”
Reviewed January 12, 2012

Bachelor is awesome, I cannot wait to go back and play again. If you are a beginner ski or boarder they have a free lift you can play on all day. If you are experienced the mountain is litterally a playground. Have fun!!!

“great snowboarding”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

Not too much snow these past few weeks, but still fun time snowboarding, the lack of fresh powder was made up for by the non-existent lines, we were able to get right back on the slopes.
