“Great trails...NO dogs YAY!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

In a city that is over populated with dogs...I'm SO thankful to find a peaceful place that doesn't allow pets!! It's wonderful to be able to enjoy the outdoors & not have to worry about being cornered by someone else's pet while you are out for a walk! This is a beautiful, well cared for park with many trails to walk or bike on. The scenery is amazing! Although, it's right in the middle of the city, you feel like you're out in the wilderness with all the trees. A great find!

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

This is my favorite park in all of SW Portland! We have walked the paths here many times and it never disappoints. We have seen beautiful snakes (lots of them when it's warm), newts, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, deer (quite a few), frogs, an owl and many other birds. As you walk the different paths you will see many different types of forests, all amazingly beautiful. Both paved and dirt paths lead in many directions so you can choose the type and length of your walk. Absolutely cannot say enough good about this beautiful west side gem. Let's keep it beautiful and serene please.

“great place for a long or short walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

can't go wrong getting out into this little preserve in the middle of Beaverton. The trails are well cared for, the fauna is beautiful, and if you stay still you'll seem some cool critters like deer, newts, birds, and such.

“Oasis near town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2013

There is a wonderful park for walking and taking in nature just near beaverton. There are several miles of trails through several types of biomes including a pond, swamp, and several types of forests. The park is also interconnected with the continuing to grow powerline trail system which goes north and south from the park. They have adequate parking, an interpretative center, public flush toilets and even a couple of picnic tables if you want to bring your lunch. It's a great place to spend an hour or two and take in all that NW Oregon nature has to offer so close to town.
