“Chuck E Cheese for bowlers”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

The food was ok, I guess. Bowling is lame unless you're trying to pick up hookers, so whatever. The games will make you go broke.

“lots of fun for a sports fan, just average food and service though”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

So this is the closest thing to a Vegas sportsbook that you will get up here pretty much for non casino type of places.A huge screen in the main restaurant, and 4 screens to each side of that.
The main restaurant is nicely done up like you are in the stands of a stadium. All tables have clear sightlines to the big screen. The main restaurant is kids allowed and the lounge restaurant above is 21 and older only.Up there it is more comfortable and you look down on the main screen. There is also a video driving range thing up there, video games, darts, and sofas in addition to the chairs and the bar stools. There are TONS of video games and arcade games on the second floor and bowling is on the main floor. You use pre purchased cards instead of quarters. The restrooms were clean and done up like you were at a stadium on the inside. The staff was friendly and pleasant enough. The only real issue stopping it from being a five star place instead of a three star place is the food is just average at best and the portions are smallish. Not small per se, but smallish. And taste and presentation was just lacking pretty much I would say as well.Would I go again ? Yes I would but not for the food at all.

“Great Service”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

When I go to Big Al's I always receive great service. A group of Alumni go there to watch our Alma Mater play on the big screen and whether it is just keeping a soda filled for the entire game or ordering up food the staff is great. If you have a big appetite and are not on a diet I suggest the Crazy Al Burger or if you want to share something between a few people the Nacho's will fill at least two people if not more.

“Cheers meets Disneyland”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Big Al's is an experience as much as a place to eat. With bowling alleys, games, upstairs viewing and a huge sports bar it is a little overwhelming. The noise level is high and the multiple big and huge screens can put you on overload. The food as somewhat creative, but not inexpensive. The kids seemed to like it as did the people having adult beverages. If you are neither, you might wish to try another spot.

“Family fun night, birthday parties, or just because!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Big Al's has three different sections: a bowling alley, a sports bar and an arcade. The bowling lanes are great, rates are decent. The sports bar is huge and has many levels and fantastic food for purchase. The arcade is big and noisy and a ton of fun for birthday parties. The arcade takes fun cards, so be prepared to deal with creditcards or cash machines. The ticket store is overwhelming for youngsters, so be prepared to wait while they carefully choose what they can bring home. We have had several family fun nights here as well as birthday party and everyone had a good time.
