This is a frequent stop for a quick lunch. Fun Vietnamese sandwiches and all kinds of bubble bubble milk tea. Great prices as well!

The banh mi are great here. This place has no ambiance, but the food is awesome. Sandwiches are cheap and filling. This is the best banh mi I've had in the Portland area; I really like their bread.

Having been to Lees Sandwiches in LA when I heard of a Vietnamese sandwich place in PDX I just had to go try it. The restaurant itself is decent sized and very clean. While we were there we noticed several folks coming in and getting several sandwiches to go. I came across 3 options for vegetarians - veggie, green onion+tofu, avocado+cheese. I went with the veggie...a warm baguette with shredded carrots, vermicelli, jalapenos, cilantro..add some sriracha on top and boy was that awesome. Had that with the taro boba tea. The place also sells various breads, snacks, and fresh cane juice. I am definitely going back to try the other options.

This is an awesome place for a bargain lunch. Vietnamese-style banh mi sandwiches with grilled meat and Asian veggies on a foot-long, fresh-baked baguette go for just over 3 bucks. They also have traditional French-style baguette and croissant sandwiches for the less adventurous. The premises is tiny and strip-mall spartan, but the smell of baking bread and pastries is all the atmosphere you need. Careful when you're asked if you want hot peppers though - the sandwich will be piled high with fresh jalapeno slices!

The location would easily make you drive right by but these Vietnamese sandwiches are filling, low priced and the asian slaw filling (cilantro, carrots, daikon) is especially tasty. The BBQ pork and beef sandwiches are both terrific. Good french style baguettes to purchase for take home as well. Bakery goodies look good--haven't tried them. Fast service.
