“Great day on a great golf course!”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Great golf course and it is in fabulous shape for early spring. The greens are like billiard tables. The fairways have forgiveness for those of us who slice and hook some. Jim M., the head pro, is very customer oriented and welcoming. Look forward to more golf there this year. Highly recommend this course to locals on those vacationing on the beautiful Oregon Coast.

“Overpriced, trying to get overflow from Bandon Dunes”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Nice course, but NOT $75 nice. They're trying to get any overflow from Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, etc ( I played Pacific Dunes & Pebble Beach, Pac Dunes is to die for, bucket list stuff). They can't seem to decide if they're a links course wannabe or an inland course. So, you have a mix of both which really doesn't work. I'm a member of a $75/day course and it was rated on the Golf Chanel (Gianelli) as one of the 5 best in US in "bang for the buck". So, I think I know of what I speak when it comes to $75 courses.

We’re glad you enjoyed Bandon Crossings, even though you felt it was priced too high. We do have a generous twilight time, which allows time for a full round if you get right off, for $45 in the summer (lower of course off-peak). We wanted to make affordable options for everyone. We understand many people can’t afford the $280 it cost to play Pacific Dunes, although it is a wonderful (bucket list quality) course. We also have internet specials and other offers throughout the year.

We have never claimed to be a true links course, such as at the Bandon Dunes Resort. We have similar great drainage, being built on old sand dunes, and hardier grass to allow for cart traffic. But our course was built out of the existing terrain and vegetation. We didn’t clear trees to be all links-like, or plant lots of trees to be parkland. Our fine designer, Dan Hixson, carved a remarkable course out of the landscape he found. He also created an acclaimed links type course at Wine Valley in Washington. He always manages to find great holes with lots of fun and challenge, no two alike, and bring them out of the terrain. It’s been almost a year since you played Bandon Crossings, come enjoy it again.

“Very pristine!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Family that has played the course were very impressed with condition and scenery. Fun and challenging at the same time. There is also a wonderful large home on site that is for rent. We had our family reunion at the home and it was filled with kids and adults alike and they never got in each others way. 16 people in one home and no bloodshed. It's a miracle.

“Good Golf Value and Scenic”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

This is a price friendly alternative for golfers who may not be able to afford Bandon Dunes. It is a scenic and well laid out course - well maintained - and has a small, friendly club house. Go a few miles south of Bandon and make a left turn off of US 101 South. The average golfer should play this course to their normal handicap. Good overall value for the money.

“Keep your sense of humor!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Played the course twice, the first time had no clue where some ot the greens were, and the book was not totally accurate. The second time was better, but still a challenge. The course it self is in super shape, greens well maintained, (but hard to read) On the other hand, gorgeous country! The desk staff was friendly and helpful, nice practice facility. To deep the frustration level down, have the desk guy tell you all about the course, why there are two greens one one hole, and why you can see three greens on your approach shot on another, (and which is the one to shoot for)
Overall, a nice outdoor experience, but play for fun.
