Owner description: Some land is made is made for golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places, and the creation of Bandon Crossings has added another great golfing option to the area. Included in Golf Magazine's Top 10 new golf courses for 2007, chosen by Golfweek as one of Oregon's Best Places to Play in 2008, and listed by the PGA Travel Magazine as a Favorite Hidden Gem in 2009, it has already won national acclaim.

Very nice but tough golf course on the coast of Oregon. Nice variety of holes, beautiful terrain, but the wind can drive you crazy. This whole area is simply beautiful, somewhat similar to the Carmel area of California.

“Golf for the non-corporate-jet set”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

If you are visiting the Southern Oregon Coast and a golfer who is part of the 99% and not the 1% that the patrons of Bandon Dunes seem to be in, this is a fun course that is moderately priced (about $75 greens fees). It is about 5 miles south of Bandon. My wife, friends and I have played it a half-dozen times. The course is interesting, challenging (the par 3's particularly so for us short-hitting high-handicap seniors) and well-maintained. I wouldn't want to walk it. It's a long way from the green to the next tee on many holes. If your focus is on the 19th hole, forget it: clubhouse amenities are minimal. They have put their money into the course, not the clubhouse. (Although they do have a rather nice vacation rental house on the course which can sleep up to six with full kitchen facilities and also gives you a discount on golf if you stay there.)

If you really want the full golf/social experience at reasonable price, play Bandon Crossings, then go 10 miles north to Bandon Dunes and have a cocktail and a snack in their really nice restaurant. Visit the Pro Shop there and buy a hat or ball marker or whatever in so your friends will think you played at Bandon Dunes.

“great golf course, awsome greens!”

What more to say than the title?! It was a great experience.. Besides the weather, Bandon Crossings is a great course. The cart paths need to be paved, but thats the only complaint. Look forward to playing here again!
