For motel-type accommodation, I would think this hotel would be difficult to beat in this attractive little town. We stopped here as a result of Tripadvisor reviews. Reception was busy on this Sunday night but rapidly we were given a "superior" room and loved it. View of the town and the Ocean. All we needed in a large and comfortable room with terrace. Clean and well furnished, We had no complaints whatsover. Indeed, nothing but praise for this well-managed hotel.

Of the 19 hotels we used on this particular trip, this one is near the top of the list.

Underrated hotel. Great large rooms with views at lower prices than the typical small town Best Western in a fantastic location near the port and restaurants.

Bandon is a small town, so don't expect 5-star luxury resorts. This hotel is exceptional value, and was exactly as expected. So-so beds that were a little too springy for my liking, and a poorly lit bathroom with a substandard shower-head. Otherwise it was a great place to spend a night for around $100. Rooms w/balconies looking onto the Old Town and the wharf area were clean and spacious. Also included a microwave and a small refrigerator, which were handy. Bathroom sink is located outside of toilet/shower room, which is also convenient. In-room DVD player but movies must be rented in town.

This is a great place to stay if you are on the Southern Oregon coast. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very affordable. We stayed in a no-view room, which was small, but completely adequate for our one night stopover. They also have rooms with beautiful views of Bandon Harbor for a higher rate. The complementary fresh chocolate chip cookies and cranberry bread and hot beverages were a treat. Plus the town is wonderful to walk around in with great dining and shopping. The Thai restaurant is always very good.

The Bandon Inn had a 2 diamond rating in the AAA Tour Book. There we were made to feel that our selecting their place was absolutely the best thing that could have happened to them--even though they only had two rooms available. We could not have been happier with our room, it's view, its location, or our treatment..

The town of Bandon is adorable. You can walk down a path right from the hotel to the center of Old Town. Lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and knowledable. The room was clean and delightful with a nice balcony. You can actually go into the Lighthouse that you see from the hotel- they have volunteers that tell you about all the Lighthouses and you can climb to the top. The Hotel is a pleasure- still serving fresh baked cookies in the evening and assorted baked breads in the morning.
I read other reviews and opted to stay at the Bandon in and was not dissapointed.

On our trip up the northwest coast to Canada from So.Cal, we looked for lodging for around $100/night or so and at least a 2-3 diamond rating by AAA. I was so surprised to find that this charming inn was our overnight stop! It had only a 2-diamond rating and the pictures did not do it justice. The rooms and grounds were immaculate and nicely decorated. We had a terrific view from our balcony of old town, the harbor, and yes, we could even see the lighthouse. There was an easy path from the inn to the quaint town below. The staff was helpful and courteous. Robert greeted us on our our arrival, and we chatted with him as we shopped in the well-stocked gift shop and ate the fresh cookies that are put out in the evening. As we checked-out in the early AM, we grabbed the fresh and delectable pumpkin and cranberry breads, juice and hot coffee- Yum!
The Bandon Inn deserves a better AAA rating!!! We truly wish we could have stayed longer!
