We came for pre-Thanksgiving, to treat ourselves before going off into cooking for family. What a great view - stormy, sunny & snow! Silver seas & glistening beaches. Quiet even though next to parking. Everyone that stopped in seemed to be serious about their beach walk & beach time. No littering or loud behavior just appreciation for the view & the ocean. Very nice hosts, friendly & helpful. Would definitely return!

This place looks old but the rooms are update, big, room and some second floor room look out facing west on the Ocean. Real gem to see the Oregon coast.

The motel has an amazing location on a bluff above one of the most beautiful area of coastline in southern Oregon. It is a short ride into the Old Town area where most of the restaurants are. The motel is surrounded by a nature preserve complete with walking paths, nature signs, and sturdy stairways to the beach below. We loved exploring during low tide. The room we chose was 207 which had nearly a 180 degree ocean view. In early October, it was $95, a good price for such a great location. Choose a second floor room for the best view, but there is no elevator. See the photos on their great website. The room was quite small but we did not care. It was clean and nice furnished, but the vinyl floor covering in the bathroom was not well done....gaps on the edge under the counter cheapened the room. All rooms do have a free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We wished the windows were cleaner for the awesome view, but that may be a challenge since it is so close to the sea. From the outside the motel looks a bit run down, but again, I imagine the sea spray is the culprit. It is a wonderful place and we will return!

This place was simple looking on the outside, yet the rooms were elegant and the beds extremely comfortable on the inside. My familiy will make this "our place" when staying in Bandon for now on. The location makes you feel secluded because there aren't any other buildings right close to it. Just nice comfy place!

The motel is getting a little dated and the room we had was a bit tight - but we did not come for the room; its like tenting on the beach in a comfy bed - you walk out of your room take the stairs and wiggle your toes in the sand. When the wind is right, you walk out of your room to the end of Coquille Point, on which the motel is located, and watch the waves crash against the rocks.
The kitchenette was basic and limited in supply but everything was clean.
The staff was super friendly and sand smart: a "from-the-beach" towel for pets or kids; an old cloth for a rag; and hardwood floors for easy cleaning. The front desk had a nice selection of high end tea and other beverages in the morning and afternoon.
The price was consistent with the beachfront location and our only real beef was that it was the only place we stayed that charged $10 extra for each of our kids.
