We had dinner at the Alloro restaurant and it was perfect. We had the best fish of our trip along the Oregon coast. The tuna was cooked to perfection and the pistachio crusted halibut was awesome as well. Everything was fresh, tasty and looked fantastic. The wine advice was spot on (Four graces pinot blanc). We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was really caring and never rushed us even though we were the last to leave...

Wow! What a wonderful surprise to find such a fine gourmet restaurant in Bandon. . The food is exceptional from caprese salad, calamari, prawns, lamb, pastas & a great NY steak with gorgonzola butter-YUMMY! We were a group of 5 & every person was thrilled with their dinners & desserts. Since it was my suggestion to eat there, I was the hero of the evening! Be sure to make a reservation or take your chances since it is that popular.

We absolutely loved this place during our brief stay in Bandon. We had ravioli with chanterelle mushrooms and a halibut dish. Both dishes were amazing. The dessert was spectacular (but I can't remember the name). All the desserts looked fantastic. The service was great. We were there on a Wednesday night. We made a reservation, and our table was ready right at 8pm. If you are in Bandon, you have to experience this!!

Turned up without a reservation and dined at the bar which turned out to be a very sociable spot!
The food was first class complimented by a surprisingly good, reasonably priced wine list.
The restaurant is unassuming but the food and the charming staff more than make up
By the way, don't go to Bandon for the night life. We were the last to leave the restaurant at 9.10 and the town was completely deserted!

Be sure to make a reservation to dine at Alloro's if you're near Bandon, Oregon. The place is tiny but the food is superior. You can tell that the two owners/chefs spent time in Italy. They have brought the taste back here. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays or we would have been back our second night in town. We shared an antipasto plate (more than enough for 2 people) and both ordered the pappardelle with lamb ragu. The pasta was handmade and perfectly cooked. We couldn't have finished our meal better than with cannoli and the freshest local berries. All that and a lovely bottle of wine was had at a very, very reasonable price. I only wish we had this place close to us.
