Seemingly reviewed as two places in the trip advisor ratings, this place is literally a shack in the Old Town Bandon pier. Very fresh fish, nothing fried. My wife had the Crab Louis which contained an enormous serving of crab, properly prepared. I had the fish tacos which I felt were better than most, and close to the best I've had.

I think they have the best clam chowder in Bandon (yes, even better than the rather thin version they serve at the Chowder House). But the thing that keeps me coming back are their excellent crabcakes. It's a pity they get so darned crowded. During the summer, there's often a hefty wait to just get in the door.

Went on vacation to Oregon. Of all the places that my husband and I ate at, the Port O Call (Tony's Crabshack) was the best!!! I received personal service from the owner's brother, Rob, who was very personably and knowledgeable of the area. Food was delicious and the atmosphere on the piers was delightful. I was so impressed that I felt the need to post this experience.

Thanks Rob and Tony's Crab Shop!

WOW!!! Did I find the jewel of the Oregon Coast. After many years of hard work and cooking classes, Tony the owner and his brother, now operate the fun and all in one stop for your vacation. From fishing charters to crabbing off the docks to eating the best fish and crab available, you have got to try the Crab Shack at Port O' Call on the waterfront. It's AWESOME.

The golf was great at bandon dunes, second to nothing else in America, in my opinion.

In direct contrast to the high end golf, was the food at "Port of Call" in downtown Bandon. A simple shack on the street with the dock on the other side. One outdoor pic nic bench, a couple of struggling music artists with a guitar, and all the dungoness crab, lobsters, oysters, and cold beer that you can eat. All cooked in front of you. It was great. Our group of 12 ate 40 crabs, 60 oysters, and drank 2-3 cases of beer for only $800.

This is the only place in this pacific coast town to really eat fresh seafood.

This joint supplies most of the fresh seafood to the local resorts and restruants. However, the high end restruants are sadly unaware of the fact that many people expect to enjoy the regions excellant seafood offerings served in large quanities.

Finish off the meal at any of the local cafe's, with fresh baked pie, ice cream, and coffee.

Head back to the resort and rest up for another round of great golf.

I'll be back.
