“Unbelievable food!!!”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Angelo's was recommended to us. This little quaint place is located in the heart of Bandon. We walked it and were treated by the owner who is from Italy. He and his son made us feel so welcome! Then the food!!!!! All four of us had something different--carbonara, clam spaghetti, tortellini and sausage rigatoni. Never had I had authentic Italian food. It was the best meal I have ever had! Then the wine! Delicious! A must have!!

“Oh Dear!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Our worst experience and meal of our trip. After ordering, appetizer and pizza, we sat 1/2 hour before our beverages arrived, then another 1/2 hour before we were presented with an antipasto plate containing some dried up looking...brussel sprouts? 5 or 6 olives 4 slices of cheese....half the plate was empty and there items just sat there...no presentation, greens, tomatoes???or ? Just a few items on a white plate....for $9? I said we didn't want it. The next minute the pizza arrived (after 1 hour) and it had a doughy, half cooked crust...we ate it because we were so hungry.

“This restaurant is authentic Italian.”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Angelo's is owned by an Italian family that makes authentic food. The pizza's are thin crust and light toppings that are truly the Italian way. The gnocchi is home made and their sauces are divine; pesto stands out!! We ate there three days in a row and the other diners were happy and upbeat also!!

“Loved the sauce!”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Sauce tasted like the one we have made for years from Grandma's recipe in Italy.....generous portions, EXCELLENT eggplant....he takes off the skin before preparing.....not wild about the pizza crust because it is not browned on the bottom, but toppings are good.....
meatball and sausage sandwiches were very good....menu called them paninis but the bread was a soft roll so more like a grinder. We were OK with having the grinder although the menu called it a panini. Prices very reasonable.....hope this place sticks around as Bandon really needs some good Italian food. Waiter is a family relative, grandson, perhaps, and not skilled like most, so be patient...this is a nice family place.
