No one delivers a rare hamburger, but they did. It was so juicy it was messy. And 1/2 pound and delicious. My wife's was medium and it was very good too. They know what they are doing. FF were good.

Kids menu was great, $5 for chicken strips and french fries. Or there were some other choices.

We have eaten at McFarlin's several times, especially since they have been offering gluten-free seafood baskets and fried chicken on the menu. We went there with friends and were looking forward to one of the gluten-free baskets (which were listed in the menus on our table!) only to be told by the waitress that those items, including the fried chicken, were no longer being offered because they took longer to prepare and got the kitchen backed up on orders. I know restaurants have to make choices about what they serve, but it's kind of poor form to not change the menus accordingly. Ended up having grilled salmon, which was very good, but not the reason we chose to go there for dinner.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and it is now one of the reasons we come to Bandon. You have to try the fries if you like garlic. The beer goes good with the food and sports on the tv's.

For the last 77 concecutive years the Plummer Family has their Labor Day vacation weekend in Bandon, Oregon. McFarlins is our favorite place to have lunch and a pint. The atmosphere is a perfect combo between a sit down restauant and a sports bar. The food of course is great. Good variety. Local brews. Our server has been the same gentalman for 3 years now. His name is Mike. He takes great care of us! He handles the whole place including us young adult siblings and cousins. McFarlins is a good old family time.

Terrible and mediocre. We went to this pub based on other traveler's reviews and to try something different while in Bandon. No local brews on tap. Ordered a regional bottled beer which the server didn't even provide a glass for. Went at happy hour and the server didn't know what was on the menu during happy hour. Pub itself is fairly new and seems dull, dark and ordinary. We won't be going back.
