“wierd (in a good way) sandwich at the Lone Pine Cafe”

First the food. I had a butternut squash sandwich, with cream cheese, walnuts and greens. Wierd, right? It was incredible, and the salad it came with was leaf lettuce good. My companions had hamburger with bleu cheese, a turkey sandwich. Both were good.
The service: Excellent
The ambiance: Very nice. They had a turntable (that's record player) and a selection vinyls - take your kids. Customers were encouraged to put on the music. Leonard Cohen, Paul Mc Cartney and Jerry Jeff Walker played during our stay.
It's a quaint building with exposed brick on one wall, and rock and painted brick on the other.
Just a very delightful place.

New owners have renamed it Lone Pine with all-new awesome menu. Check out the new restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good and homemade. Iced tea is the best in town too. Service is very attentive and the new owners are interested in what you think of the food. Seating is limited, but it's very popular for breakfast this morning. I'll definitely be back for more! Breakfast potatoes are incredible.
