Dear Guest I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know that we did not meet your expectations. We work hard to make our guest as comfortable as possible. I will make sure to let the staff know so that this does not happen again.
We stayed here for one night this week. The hotel seems to be quite new. The room was clean and updated. The location is convenient to I40 which was what we needed. It is also a pet friendly hotel. They have a large grassy area at the back for the dogs with a waste station and poo bags. The biggest negative is that other pet owners have not picked up after their pets. Not strictly the hotel's fault, although it wouldn't hurt to do an overall clean up. But Pet Owners!!!! Clean up after your animals!!! That's part of your job as a pet owner!
The breakfast was fine. The water pressure in the shower was also fine. I would stay here again.
Clean rooms, great breakfast, very nice property! I travel with my pets, and the dog area is large and well stocked with bags and waste can. The pool was crystal clear and clean. The public spaces were well maintained. Staff were courteous and efficient.
This is a great hotel if you need a place to stay with your pet. Nice clean hotel with wonderful amenities. Plenty of outdoor areas, close to fast food restaurants and easy access off the freeway. Great staff.
Staff was friendly but room was dirty. One bed had a dirty top blanket. Dirt and food on walls and floor from previous customer. Dirty furniture, dirty microwave, dirty shower. Paper thin walls. Tile repair in bathroom was sloppy.
La Quinta has been our go-to hotel for many years. This one is our first disappointment.
Yes--it's clean, well-located, welcomes pets & has a nice breakfast. The desk clerk was very friendly & helpful.
However, this location is quite new and sadly, is no longer in the bright, Spanish-style so familiar & so welcoming. The basic boring exterior now makes it look like all the other basic boring mid-range hotels. The lobby & rooms are an attempt to be modern & contemporary instead of the comfortable, traditional style of the former design.Soon it all will look dated. Behind the check-in desk is a huge landscape mural of a farm--seems so out of place with the attempted modern style of the lobby furniture.
Our room! where to begin? poor design, wasted space, one armless chair in the sitting area in a KING bed room, The TV is there-- far away from the bed where, I would guess, most couples prefer to watch TV. There is no clock. The phone flashes "messages" while there are none. The refrigerator has no freezer.
Across from the bed is the desk TV is on the dresser while the desk is in the bedroom area. (Locations should be reversed). Above the desk is a painting of the "End of the Trail" sculpture. I understand it is famous & now hangs in an Oklahoma City Museum, but to have that heart-breaking painting in the bedroom here is so sad. And, another thing-- The bed is open underneath--making vacuuming impossible for housekeeping to clean plus makes for a great hiding place for our kitty when we're trying to grab him in order to pack & checkout.
I hate to be harsh, but we miss our old-style La Quintas & won't return to this one.
