We really liked our room, which appeared to be recently updated. Beds were really comfortable, the A/C worked well (but was tricky to set so that the fan stayed on continuously, something we like to cover occasional noises). Bathroom was standard Hampton size, but also seemed updated. Breakfast was extensive and pretty good, and we really like that they serve till 10 am. In room WiFi was free and easy to access, but somewhat slow. Fine for checking e-mail/basic browsing, but don't plan to watch streaming Netflix. The lap desk in the room was a nice touch!
We had requested a top floor, quiet location on our online booking form, and that's exactly what we got. Check in and check out were friendly and fast.
A few minor negatives: We did not get a paper (USA Today) at the door, looked like they maybe ran out just before us? I asked at the front desk and they did manage to find a copy of the Oklahoma City daily for me. Comforters were overwashed/worn out - had become lumpy (the covers were new, clean and nice). As another review mentioned, the footstool (not a work chair) at the room desk is weird/awkward. Would not have wanted to stay here on biz and need to compute or write a lot. The Zenith 27" tube TV looked really out of place in a nicely upscale/updated room. Likewise, the shower enclosure looked like a do it yourself kit from Home Depot - as compared to the granite sink counter. Sort of funny cheap/expensive mix of room features. But whatever, the overall experience was quite positive for us.

We had planned a weekend in Bricktown with our kids over the New Year's Eve holiday. My husband had made an error in reserving our rooms in Bricktown, so we had our kids to stay there and we had to speedily find a room for the night. Bricktown was simply packed with people and there were no other rooms at any of the other hotels in Bricktown!!! I had seen the Hampton Inn in Yukon before and some of our extended family stayed there. So, we took a chance. It is clean, the beds are really comfortable, the rooms are designed nicely, it is quiet, and the price is good. So, it "saved the day," for us that weekend!! Loved it and felt that with another New Year's celebration, then we should all stay there, instead of fighting all of the traffic in Bricktown. The staff at the front desk were very nice and they had snacks on hand that evening that were free and they have an excellent continental breakfast. Everything was clean and nice. Yukon is a suberb of OKC and only five minutes away from OKC.

The room was very clean and comfortable, but there was no desk chair for the desk, just a footstool for the easy chair, which could not be positioned to be able to see the television comfortably. The hot breakfast was good and very popular, as all of the available tables were taken.

Something has changed here. I have been at this hotel before when traveling through Oklahoma, but perhaps time has taken its toll. Or perhaps a management change? Room not as clean or nice as before. Not up to par as at other Hampton Inns I have stayed in and when I made a comment, management insinuates everything fine. Made me feel stupid. I don't know what it is, but I will stay at one of the other hotels in the area.

An oasis in a busy area. Thought this would be just another interstate hotel on a busy edge of town, but was pleasantly surprised. Did not have a reservation, but it only took moments to check in. Rooms were very large. Nice indoor pool. Eating places nearby. Quiet. Quick interstate access. Breakfast area was large enough and up to Hampton Inn standards. If you are driving long distance and need a place to stay for one night, this would be a good value. Rates were less than other Hampton Inns in more rural places and the property was really modern.

As usual we always read the tripadvisor reviews prior to our stay. Based on the reviews we thought this hotel would be excellent. It was not.

When we arrived the hotel lobby was nicely appointed, unfortunately we do not spend the majority of our stay in the lobby.

Upon arriving in our room on the 3rd floor, the carpet baseboard was half ripped off and hanging on the floor. The room itself was standard with two beds and was nicely decorated.

The bathroom had been renovated, it was obvious. But the quality of workmanship and lack of attention to detail was evident. Wall paper was starting to bubble and peel, floor uneven, ceiling looked like it had been patched and never fixed properly, the lighting in the bathroom is commercial grade flouresent so you feel like you are in a spotlight. With this type of lighting I am wondering how housekeeping managed to not see the black hairs in the shower and the inch layer of dust on the light fixture. The shower also had very poor water pressure and was more of a sprinkle.

We decided to try the pool and relax. There is no Jacuzzi. The pool is average size and 5 feet deep. Unlike the bathroom the pool area was dimmly lit. This was to hide the fact that the water was more of a milk color than an actual clear that you would normally see. When we asked the staff person what was wrong with the pool, he told us that it was the light. He said he did not know when they had cleaned it last. Red Flag!

And finally, we decided to go to bed. Turned up the heat as it was 38F. The heater made a tick, tick , tick noise all night long, but this helped lull us to sleep with the constant sound of traffic going by from the interstate. Poorly insulated which caused the unit to expand and contract all night and also allowed us to feel like we were sleeping outside, I would never stay here again. I will stay in Tulsa next time.
