“Restaurant”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

The lodge is very nice and the rooms were excellent, even had ceiling fans. The pool area is great as well as the rest of the facilities. This weekend was the second bad experience with the restaurant. It took well over an hour to get our food and there were only 4 tables being served. I would suggest that you close the restaurant if you cannot do better. With a lodge this nice,it is a shame not to have a restaurant that you can trust.

“Family Fun”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

I took my family to the park, not knowing what all would be available. The springs were a lot of fun and so nice in the hot summer weather. There was some nice shaded hiking. The lodge staff was very courteous, and the lodge pool was fun for the kids. The fishing was lacking, but we just moved on to the next event. It was a good overnight stay.

“Hiking & Great Food”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Nice state park with golfing, fishing & a great restaurant. The lodge has been recently completely refurbished. The food is really good & varied although the service is a little slow it isn't bad.

“Dinner and drinks”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Had drinks and dinner here. Lovely outside terrace. Nice drinks and good food. Drink service was fast but food service was very very slow. It wasn't the server as she was pretty speedy but the kitchen seems very slow. Overall it was a good experience

“Return to Childhood”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Came here in the second grade and remembered the swimming pool as a rock-bordered spring-fed pool. Times have changed. The rocks around the edge and along the bottom of the pool have been replaced by concrete. The pool has been cut off from the springs and is fed with city water. A bit disappointing but nice to see that it is still here after more than 50 years. There are photos from the 50s in the lodge which is how I remembered the pool. The staff at the lodge was very friendly and helpful.
