While in Tulsa for USA BMX Grand Nationals this past November 2019 we stayed at the Tulsa Embassy Suites located at 3332 S 79th E Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74145.

During our stay, the vehicle our bikes were stored in was vandalized and four BMX bikes stolen. In addition to the theft and damage to that vehicle, multiple vehicles in the parking lot had smashed windows, flat tires, and at least two had slashed tires.

The hotel staff was advised of the vandalism and theft, but seemed unconcerned. They couldn’t be bothered with investigating the damage much less calling the police, but rather advised us to “write down what was stole and call the police.”

Insult to injury, the family that had their vehicle damaged, and therefore unavoidably stuck at their hotel, was charged an additional two nights stay.

We reached out to Hilton Corporation, but they only forwarded our complaint back to the Embassy Suites where Management feigned ignorance. Management finally admitted they’d “heard about something” but claimed to not be aware of the magnitude even though the van, with missing window, was parked at their front lobby entrance.

Embassy Suites has been our go-to hotel for 20+ years, however, this has been our single worst experience at ANY hotel. Embassy Suites’ indifference to the damage and loss of property is inconceivable, but then to have Hilton Corporation be just as unconcerned … INFURIATING.

I had stayed at this property a couple years ago and had an unpleasant experience. The moment I walked in I realized I made a mistake booking this hotel again. Crappy single room, everything is dated, drains are slow, noisy and smelly. People stay here for the free booze only.

The motel is getting older and with that there are some items that are getting worn or are in need of quality repairs. wall paper in bathroom is beginning to come off and the drywall repairs to the ceiling was not done correctly and is coming off. There was something in the carpets when I checked in (several places) that needed to be cleaned out as a vacuume didn't get it up while I was there. There rain picked up and there were numerous buckets put out to catch the leaks.

The room have dirt or something on floor in corner, dirty extra bedding, at first ac wasn't working, shady helper to fix the ac, the door was leaking air from outside, underbed was hair and dirt!! I wasnt happy at all compared to most embassy suits!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, and comfortable bed. We would’ve gave this hotel 5 stars if they didn’t change happy hour to a limit of 2 drinks per hour (5:30-7:30) and you have to get a drinking ticket.
