It's nice to have a good sized park in the mid town area. Great amenities and plenty of playground space, running, walking paths and wooded nature~ish areas.

Visited LaFortune Park for the first time this past Memorial Weekend. Very nice park...loved the scenery and enjoyed relaxing with my fiance in the midst of the sounds of children having fun and seeing parents play with their children and listening to the birds and sounds of cars passing by. Park had nice path to walk, lots of benches and good size group areas. Definitely visiting that park again!

This is a square mile park that really needs to be cleaned up and updated. There is a ton of people here only because there is no other place in the area to exercise. Fenced area incases a golf course that is popular with the average hack like me but really this place needs to be cleaned up. We found a syringe today and that stopped our walk. Avoid if you can this is a city embarrassment. Go west 3 miles to Riverparks.

Tulsa is an older city. The city is somewhat overshadowed by several noteable families that had a strong hand in the growth of the Tulsa. The LaFortune Family is one. They donated the land that makes up LaFortune Park, 320 acres in the middle of suburban Tulsa. The two golf courses are very good, the picnic park is expansive and very nice, the lawn bowling area is very good and the tennis center is superb. Go to this park. It is uncrowded, safe and clean.

The park is no big deal. The tennis center is nice enough. Seems like a popular and nice place to run.
