“Great place for Lunch”
Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

The menu for lunch is amazing! They have so many choices. The homemade potato chips are great! I highly recommend the Ruben.
Actually, no matter what you order, you can't go wrong.

“Great Lunch in Tulsa”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

While visiting family in Tulsa we were told The Hamlet Deli on 91st and S. Sheridan had a good lunch menu, know for their sandwiches, take-out meats, hams and turkeys. Upon our arrival we were greeted, seated and noticed how clean the deli was. The Hamlet was going through some renovations, however, it did not affect the service; everything was updated and seating was comfortable.

My wife ordered the chicken salad sandwich and I had pastrami on rye. The ingredients were plentiful, fresh and tasty. Add to this a cup of home made baked potato soup and voila, crazy good. An additional pleasant surprise were the "right out of the kettle" homemade potato chips; crispy, crunchy, and yummy. The servers kept our ice tea and water glasses full throughout the meal, they couldn't have been nicer. The food was reasonably priced, you deifinately got what you paid for.

I was very impressed with everything about The Hamlet and struck up a conversation with Brett, the manager. Asked Brett about the work in progress and what looked like an expansion project. Brett explained they have always offered a lunch menu and were developing the restaurant aspect of the establishment, changing from a counter service to a more traditional sit down dining experience. In addition, they started working on a dinner menu and are currently in construction of what will be a full service bar area. Brett indicated the goal is to establish The Hamlet as a mid-priced ($15-$25) full service casual dining restaurant, starting with their current location and expanding to multiple Tulsa locations.

The upgrade appears to be first class, can't wait to return to The Hamlet for dinner, and will certainly be back for another great lunch. If you live in Tulsa, or just visiting, you might want to give The Hamlet a try, you will be glad you did.
