The Badwich is a great bargain offering a nice sample of what they do. The beans are excellent with the side and dessert just good. Service is sometimes slow.

I am rarely disappointed by BBQ, but I was, sadly, disappointed by my first visit to what was described as a Tulsa BBQ tradition. We ordered ribs, chopped beef and sliced bologna. The ribs and the chopped beef were best described as fatty. The challenge was to find any traces of beef on either of the orders. The bologna was okay, but so thinly sliced it almost seems like there was a shortage of bologna and they were trying to stretch their supply. Even the BBQ sauce was too sweet and too thin to compensate for the shortcomings of the meat orders. The baked beans were, on the other hand, tasty and the slaw was quite good. Our wait person was friendly and the there was a sense of camaraderie among our fellow diners. All I can figure is that we happened to visit Elmer's on a less-than-good night.
