I checked in the hotel Sunday at 3:30 am. I requested a late checkout and the person at the desk informed me he didn't know how to do this and the ladies in the morning normally do this. I woke up about 11:00 and informed reception of my 4:00 checkout. We placed a do not disturb sign on the door, but got a knock asking when we were going to check out. Needless to say we didn't go back to sleep. We went to get a bite to eat about 2:00 pm and came back to find our keys didn't work. It was my first stay at this property and I will most likely stay at the other Aloft in Tulsa if I can help it.

Room Tip: This hotel is all about the view. Ask for a top floor to get a good view of the city.

LOVED everything about this hotel but it will be nice when they extend 5th street to the hotel. It was a tad hard to identify but be patient as this is a work in progress and it was absolutely worth it. We had a double room with great decor - large with high ceilings and huge windows. The beds were the best hotel bed I have ever had. There were also different types of pillows, the feather type AMAZING. I will purchase two for my home. The staff from desk clerks to breakfast preparer, who was hilarious, were extremely helpful and nice and we were a group with lots of special needs. They were all wonderful. I can't say enough about our stay.
It is definitely my new favorite Tulsa hotel!
Thanks for a wonderful stay. We really appreciate the entire staff. They were total pros.

The hotel is located in downtown, so it was within walking distance to both the BOK center and the PAC. The rooms were ultra plush and very modern. The tile and color scheme were both very expensive feeling, but at a great price.

I booked this hotel expecting it to not be 100% and that it would be going through its growing pains as my stay was only 2 months after opening. The building was an old city hall building on the edge of downtown next to the convention center. Me expectations were met when I entered the parking level lobby. It smelled like an old college dorm and obvious signs of continued construction were apparent. A white boat instructed the guests to go up to the main floor lobby to check in. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and efficient. Even though it is a renovated building, the rooms are your standard Aloft rooms...clean, efficient and comfortable.

The only issue I had with my stay was the parking and security. Parking lines are not clearly defined so it becomes a cluster at night. Many spots are marked "Reserved" but are left from the city hall days and don't apply to guests, but by looking at the cars no one knew better. also, the parking lot is wide open for anyone to park, surrounded by a dimly lit convention/loading area. The parking level hotel entrance is sparse. It gives anyone (guest or non-guest) completely free elevator access, which means completely free room floor access. Anyone can bypass the main lobby and access the guest floors completely unseen by staff. A room key is not necessary to access guest floors, so there is no front door where each non-key-holding-guest has to enter. It's like leaving your garage door open at night. I thought that I was being paranoid, but this is just common sense. I would even call it "duty of care" by the hotel. I'm confident that security measures will be in place when it is complete, but this should have been higher up on the priority list. I would stay here again, but not until the hotel is complete and proper guest security measures are put in place. Both seem far off.

I appreciate your comments on our hotel and was disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. I understand the points about the parking, and plans are in the works to get the lot more clearly defined. As for securtiy, this is an issue that we do take very seriously. The hotel entrances are keycard access only after 10pm, so not anyone can enter the building, except for the main entrance level that is manned 24/7. We do have security that is present both in the lot and on the guestroom floors in the overnight hours. Again, any and all comments by our guests are greatly welcomed and used to further enhance the guest experience at our hotel. When you come visit us again, please contact me and I would be more than happy to talk with you about any concerns you may have.

Stayed here at opening week and had a great experience! Never stayed at a hotel shortly after they opened but was surprised on how professional and relaxed our stay was. We were visiting from California for business. Even though business was taking us to the Bartlesville area we decided to stay in this hotel and didn't mind the drive up every morning and every night back to Tulsa, AND there is complimentary on site parking.

Great room, great bed, nice views, nice modern accent colors in room. The bathroom feels open and is nicely divided from the main area. The idea of having some daylight in the shower was a great thought! nice bubbly shower, shampoo and soap products, all color coordinated :-)

Fun little pool area and nice modern bar with many options. Fun breakfast, snack shop, made it possible to get a snack at any time. So great for when you get the munchies :-)

Staff is very friendly, welcoming and professional. They made us feel at home! We will definitely be back next time we are in town, can't wait!

First of all, this hotel is brand new. We stayed there their opening weekend. That being said, maybe some things will improve. The hotel is very clean and modern and comfortable. Its easy to find and close to every thing downtown.
The pool is extremely small and was ICE COLD! The bar doesn't open until 5pm and they are not very well stocked and basically close whenever the bartender feels like going home (not that I blame him, he said in 5 hours he only poured three drinks.) Again that might improve with time but paying full price for a hotel with a bar and a pool I want to be able to use both when I'm there whether I'm the only guest or one of hundreds. Thats kind of the point of a hotel.
My biggest complaint about this place is their billing. I received three different receipts all with different amounts. My friend and I were double charged for our food charges and it took three different times of explaining it to two different people to FINALLY get them to understand that they had charged us both for the same things instead of splitting the single charges down the middle.
I have actually heard of this being a problem at other Aloft hotels and knowing this I would be weary to stay at another one. I definitely will not be staying at any hotel when it is brand new and not fully booked.
