Having grown up in Louisiana, it's always nice to find a place that can really live up to the flavor. There are many places to claim to be cajun food, but rarely do they meet expectations. I stopped in for lunch on Friday and had the special - stuffed catfish. Fantastic. Good portions, and the flavor is classic south Louisiana. It's a little pricey for lunch, but worth it. They also sell vacuum-packed Bourgois' jerkey.
In addition to just the restaurant, they also sell meat - who'd of thought with a name like "specialty meats"?
I haven't had time to go back for the meat, but it looked good and I'll send an update when I try it out.
