Great way to spend a few hours learning about Tulsa's history. They have multiple exhibits each year that are well put together.

“Great Way To Learn About Tulsa's Past!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

The grounds to this facility are absolutely gorgeous! The landscaping is such that it makes you forget where you are for a moment!
Once inside however, you are transported into the rich history of Tulsa. There is a $5 fee to enter the museum, but I highly recommend it. The exhibits are educational and well-presented. Additionally, there are huge restroom and ballroom facilities that can be rented for special occasions.

Picturesque grounds with lovely gardens set a back from the road with majesty. Beautiful architecture with rolling hills of overflowing waves of roses.

“A hidden Tulsa gem in a fabulous mansion setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013

As you approach the museum from South Peoria looking across the manicured sweeping grounds, you can imagine this setting in the roaring 20's, with two successful Tulsans building mansions side by side, one to become the Tulsa Historical Society, and the other the Tulsa Garden Center. Constantly changing exhibits give a visitor an in-depth look at Tulsa's history, from oil exploration to rock stars. Easy parking and its serene setting make it an easy rich experience for older visitors who feel put off by the hustle and bustle of some museums. A true Tulsa treasure!
