We each enjoyed our breakfast. Very nice, home town feel about it. Our waitress was still in her first week and did a great job. All the food was yummy!

This is for the 41st & Peoria location. We have been here 3 times now... was never disappointed. Very clean place with good, friendly waitresses-never had to wait for a table. Its a pretty big place with large and small booths, regular tables, and seating at the bar where you can watch them cook. Breakfast is very good....have tried the omelettes, pancakes, hamburgers, tchicken fried steak, & they have quite a few healthy choices here for breakfast or lunch.
Breakfast is reasonably priced and comes with a lot of sides to choose from such as hash browns, home fries, fresh fruit, dollar size pancakes, cottage cheese, biscuits, gravy, homemade white bread toast or raisin toast. Good biscuits & gravy & if u like spicy sausage/gravy try the "Biscuit Debris" dish. Plus of course bacon, sausage,
Etc. Even have a savory cheese and bacon pancake which is very good for something different to try. Yummy! Good coffee with flavored creamer on the tables to choose from. And the coffee comes in cute little mugs with the Jimmy's Egg logo on it. (That's a girl thing to notice things like that, ya know).
I recommend you try this place and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Only open for breakfast & lunch so remember that.

Jimmy's Egg is a sleek efficient little diner. Clean professional waitresses. We have only eaten there for breakfast. There's rarely a wait, and if there is one, it's only a few minutes. I notice that they are adding healthy options to their menu, with veggie omelets, sweet potato pancakes (are those more healthy?) and fresh fruit. Breakfast is always good.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but we had a great breakfast experience here. The sweet potato pancakes ROCK! Service was fast and friendly too.

This place is surprising. It does not look like much from the outside. It is right next to the Ace Hardware on Peoria. The staff are super. Very friendly and chatty. The breakfast menu is yummy. I like the South of the Border omelet. Lunch has very good down home cokking. The pot roast is awesome.
