“Clean and very accommodating.”
Reviewed July 27, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here last week for a conference and the hotel was perfect. Clean, nice rooms and the staff was so accommodating. We had a girl in our room who felt sick one day and someone from the front desk brought her soup, crackers and juice. It was so nice; I've never had staff at any hotel be that kind before! This place is just perfect to come back to and relax after a long day/night.

stayed here with family, and got the two bedroom suite. it was clean and bright and cheerful with all the amenities of home. Full kitchen with cookware, dining table, everything we needed. Two private bedroom with very comfortable queen beds and completely private with closeable doors. We were very pleased with the comfort and value. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here two nights in February. After a long drive and in the darkness of night could not locate hotel so we called the Inn and received directions. Linda stayed on the phone till we seen the hotel. It is located behind the Springhill Suites. We were greeted like family and Linda set us up with Military rates. The second night we even were presented with bonus Mariott points. We had been picked for the customer of the night promotion. The room was on the second floor and spotless! Really like the two bedroom, two bathrooms concept! The living room space had a gas fireplace which I enjoyed! This is probably the nicest Residence Inn I've stayed in so far. Tulsa is a wonderful city and the people are a pleasure to be around. The front desk staff were friendly and housekeeping were cheerful and greeted us when you passed them in the hall. Once oriented and rested we found the hotel is in a nice area with several eating establishments closeby.

We choose this hotel for the floor plan of 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a sitting area so we could visit with our grand daughter. The room was great. The young man who checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. The food was good and the the location could not have been better.

Just passing through but enjoyed the space. I liked having two work surfaces with the tv straight ahead. The view of another part of the building about 10 feet out the window - not so much. Everything else OK, until we couldn't get the room to cool to our preference of COLD. We had positive thoughts until we both sprung out of bed around 3 and said I can't take it anymore. Called the desk and she brought up 2 fans which fixed the problem, but that didn't fix our lack sleep for the night. The a/c started working after we returned from breakfast the next morning????? It's a typical problem for us and we should not have been so patient.... Also the food attendant was very pushy about ending breakfast on time. I understand the time limits but there must be a more pleasant way to enforce them. Maybe some humor-because we felt pretty grumpy at the service.
I also was amazed that during "happy hour" when we arrived was serving light appetizers and drinks but I was told I had to purchase soda. Needless to say we didn't eat anything there due to lack of beverage of choice.
I will continue to be amazed at a "community breakfast" when guests insist on wearing their pjs in public and carting off plates of food to others. Guess I need to get with the program, or keep my polite self at home.

We spent two nights at the Residence Inn in March, 2012. We brought our 2 kids (ages 10-15) and our dog (age 5). When we saw the wonderful room, we were extremely excited. The layout was great, and with the fold-out couch, we each had a private sleeping area. The kitchenette was very clean, and well stocked with various handy utensils and appliances. As a plus, the neighborhood felt very safe and when we took the dog out for walks, it was a pleasure to walk around the well-manicured areas (Yes, we picked up after him!) ;) The staff couldn't have been friendlier! We've dealt with polite people many times, but these folks seemed genuinely friendly! We enjoyed talking to them and they treated our family very well. The downsides: The bathrooms were so small, you have to stand in the right spot in order to shut the door because it swings so close to the toilet. My daugher wanted to swim, so I walked to the pool area with her. There were no clean towels on the rack, and the pool area was unkempt with used towels and empty bottles and glasses everywhere. The worst part was the hot tub. My rule is that if there's a little foam in the hot tub, it's probably a little dirty but ok. I'll avoid a hot tub with foam if you can't see the bottom. But this hot tub was so foamy, there was a dirty bathtub ring around the top edge. Forget about seeing the bottom: the foam was so thick it practically reached up to the floor level! Yuck!! I told my daughter to have a quick swim but I absolutely would not allow her to go near that hot tub. The Sunday morning breakfast buffet was a major disappointment, especially because my husband and I woke up early just for that! We always enjoy the Holiday Inn Express on Sunday morning, so we were very excited to try the Residence Inn because we thought it would be a bit more upscale than the Holiday Inn. The staff was wonderful, the buffet was clean and orderly but unfortunately, they were out of eggs! The attendant was friendly and apologetic, and she told us they had none to serve because they had a busy Saturday and they ran out of eggs the day before! The gravy was unseasoned so it was basically flour and water - just a pure white pasty goo. They were out of regular coffee creamer, so if you didn't like the coffemate flavored creamers (which we don't because they're too sweet), then you'd better just enjoy black coffee. They had a tray labeled sausage which I think was 1/2 dollar sized very thin, dry discs of ham. Generally speaking - this is a nice place to stay - and highly family friendly. We felt safe and comfortable.

Room Tip: If you avoid the pool/hot tub and plan to go out for breakfast - you'll have a lovely time here...

The staff and customers were attentive and friendly. They kept the breakfast buffet stocked. The room was comfortable and clean. The one issue i noticed was that there is not a business room or office if you are there on business. The "business" room they had was in the dining area in the open with no privacy. We had our computer devices and were able to access the internet in our rooms, and the speed was good. At one point my husband left the room to allow the maid to come in and clean but he said there was no privacy area for business travelers.

Room Tip: There is no official private business center. Its in the dinning area with no privacy.
