This hotel is like staying in a wonderful family home. Staff is amazing (though you do have to stay on housekeeping a bit - they seem to be stingy with things like toilet paper and coffee) but the ambience, the convenience of location and the amenties make it all worth you stay. Beautiful hotel, great little bar and restaurant attached....cannot wait to come back next year!

We stayed here for the night just because the photos of the rooms looked great and had character vs the standard hotel with the same old standard appearance. I just assumed it was a family business where they converted an old warehouse only to find out this was originally a hotel when it was built back in the 20's making this place around 100 years old. It has much of the original woodwork, ceiling tiles, floors, etc.
Although we already had other plans we found out that they had it's own bar, spa, event center and even a really nice Deli attached to it which does deliver to your room. The staff was great and very friendly, the place was clean and we plan to stay there again next year. The only negative I would have is that the vending machines were about empty and only had crackers in it.

When the BnB that we originally had planned to stay was 'closed' we opted for the Campbell. It's along route 66 which is historic in and of itself. The hotel went through iterations and was once a grocery store. The lobby and furnishings definitely have a modern vibe. It's not new - but a historic building... the fixtures are what give it, it's appeal. The cost at 125.00/couple seemed a bit on the high side to us as breakfast was Otis Spunkmeyer type muffins and granola type bars (ok, we understand the feasibility of preparing more food). There was coffee as well. The rooms are a bit dark as well as the upstairs - Sort of seemed vacant on the Monday night we were there - other guests were there also maybe a bit more lighting might help. We understand that weekends are booked due to the closeness to TU. A few more amenities would be nice. Overall - it served us fine... one more thing - a list of recommendations upon ck. in and a bit more info on the area - what to miss/what to see would be extremely helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback about your recent stay. The Grab-N-Go breakfast that you are referring to is just for the guest who do not have time to go to the restaurant which is located at the end our building. We only put the muffins and granola bars out just as a little extra for our guest especially the ones who might have to leave early. We hope that you will come back and stay with us in the future. Thanks again for your feedback. Diane

The Campbell has a LOT of character. It is far from the generic, bland, typical hotels. Our room had an incredibly comfortable king size bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning.

My son attends University of Tulsa and we normally stay downtown when we visit, but everything was sold out for Bruno Mars. We know parents who’d stayed at Campbell before, so we gave it a try this time. I had originally booked just Friday night, but my husband called to extend through Saturday. He arrived before me and the staff told him the reservation was Saturday & Sunday, so obviously the staff made an error when amending the original reservation. To their credit, they did “work it” to get us in, but we nearly had to shack up with our son & roommate - thankfully someone’s credit card was declined from an online booking site.

Each room is said to be unique and although the furnishings were charming and the room clean, I won’t be back. The mattress was tired, the pillows well worn and the inexpensive sheets too short to stay tucked in. I don’t want to think about how often the coverlet and pillow shams are changed. I slept horribly & couldn’t wait to get in the car to take a much needed nap.
