“Quality restaurant”
Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

We had discovered this restaurants on Trip Advisor. We've lived in Tulsa almost 11 years now and hadn't heard of this lovely Italian restaurant. And it's right around the corner from where we live in The Farm shopping center! Wow. With its great rating, we thought we'd give it a try to celebrate our anniversary of meeting one another :) In any case, we are certainly going to make a habit of this restaurant (as in once a year). It's a bit pricey, however I made some celebratory expensive choices: like the jumbo prawn & some truffle-flavored rice! But OMGoodness - what a treat! Highly recommended for special occasion, fine dining. Bravo, Villa Ravenna!

“Best Italian in Tulsa”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

I have been blessed to eat here roughly 10-12 times and I love it every time. Lunch or dinner, doesn't matter. Good wine selection, fresh seafood, and always wonderful handmade pasta dishes. The must haves for me are the Gorgonzola pears appetizer, then the Lasagna with Wild Boar sausage. Yumm! To top it off get the limoncello

Thanks everyone at Villa

“Food was Great”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

I really enjoyed the Italian atmosphere once we got into the restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look like much. The food was delicious. We shared the Gorgonzola Pear appetizer... it was excellent. I had a seafood dish on a black pasta ( dyed black with squid ink), my wife had the Veal Shank with risotto. We both enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Dessert was the tiramisu... it was perfect. My only complaint would be our waiter... he kept coming back with too many options that were not on the menu trying to change our minds... Meeting the owner was a nice touch.

“Good, but not the best Italian in Tulsa.”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Service was calmly good - lots of specials for wait staff to remember. Many seafood and veal options if you go for that. Seasonings other that garlic were a bit weak, garlic was strong. Husband enjoyed the "wild boar" sausage. I thought chicken in the fettuccini alfredo was dry. Strawberry & pecan salad was good. Minestrone a bit bland. Nice ambiance, but a bit loud this evening. Maybe not the best tastes and experience for your $$. We will try again, but not regularly.

“Anniversary Dinner”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

We had heard that Villa was a superb Italian restaurant and we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in a special way. The appetizers were fantastic - pears with gorgonzola cheese, spicy homemade sausage and dates wrapped in bacon. Unfortunately, the appetizers were the highlight of the meal. I had the Veal parmesan and it was average - no herbs or spices, very bland for northern Italian. Likewise my daughter had the spagetti with meatballs and said it was bland. My wife had the Fettucini bolognese and it was also very average. We had a better version of Fettucini earlier in the week at Bravo Italian in Fort Smith, AR.
Our waitress was less than attentive. When it came to desserts, we ordered the highly recommended lemon cake which was average. My daughter ordered the chocolate mousse and they brought her a piece of chocolate cake. When we brought the mistake to our waitress's attention, she said their mousse is like cake. We find that hard to believe. We think she did not want to be bothered with making a correction.

We were not impressed with this restaurant given all of its accolades. We have had much better at Ti Amo in Tulsa. A very disappointing night at Villa Ravenna.
