“Enjoyed Dinner Very Much!”
Reviewed August 16, 2012 via mobile

Ate dinner here with a group of about 10 folks. Truly enjoyable, casual dining experience. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful in sorting through the myriad of options for drinks and eats. Was pleasantly noisy and cheerful, as one should expect from the name. Will eat here again.

“Love my lunch here!”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

I had lunch at the Brady Tavern and I can say just positive things about my experience here. Food was great, ambience at noon is nice plus they have good customer service. Love this area in dowtown.

“Good for Tulsa but loud”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

Went to the Brady Tavern on a Friday, right before a show at the Brady Theater. We weren't attending the show but the place was packed and very loud.

We went to the bar and ordered two glasses of wine, a beer and a cocktail. The initial wine pours were only about 2/3 of the typical wine pour in the same size glass, so we were all a bit skeptic of our choice for dinner. But after the appetizers arrived, we were all happy with our choice for dinner. The food was plentiful and appropriately priced. The restaurant, however, is in a 1920's era building, and during the buildout, the owners failed to dampen the acoustics of the space. A bit of effort during the planning phase would have made the restaurant much nicer.

“Great new find”
Reviewed June 11, 2012

We were looking for something different downtown for dinner before a concert and decided it was time to try Tavern on Brady, although we had not heard great reviews (mainly it was too pricey and "weird" food). We are very glad we tried it and will definitely return!

First we had the chicken liver toast. If you like liver pate, this is superb!!!!!! Probably my favorite dish. Then there was a caprese salad (special of the evening) with beautiful heirloom tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a very tasty arugala pesto. Finally, the pub burger is not like any burger you would make at home! A mushroom cognac cream sauce (full of mushrooms) and stilton cheese on a challah bun. I am not a french fry (or frites) person, but these were thin shoestring type fries with a hint of something (rosemary maybe?) and they were excellent. It's not a cheap place, but it also didn't break the bank.

Negatives: The acoustics are not made for a quite intimite dinner! It gets very loud in the main dining room. Also, there is a booth along the entire back wall and tables are placed in front of it. Not a fan of this type arrangement. A bit too close to the neighboring table for me. There are other tables available in the center of the room which I will request next time (or maybe sit in the bar and see if it is quieter).

Overall, a very nice evening.

“Great wine list and gourmet cuisine”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

Great place for dinner before any downtown event, or for brunch on the weekends. It has become a regular on our short list of favorites. Expansive wine and beer list, great food menu and weekly specials. Try the tavern burger - 1/2 price after 9 p.m. every night - it's worth it at any price!
