Pretty new to Tulsa the Bok is a great addition! It's a huge venue hosting shows like Paul Mcartney, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga etc. every event I've gone to has been amazing. The Bok is always very clean, the staff is helpful, and the beer stations are plentiful.

I was mayor when we opened this 5 years ago-and eagles just performed there to a sold out crowd for the third time! Cesar Pelli architecture, great artwork and exceptional venue!

We recently attended the Eagles Concert in Tulsa OK at the BOK Center. We live in Oklahoma City about 120 miles South. We have never been there before and took another couple. We were very pleased at how beautiful the outside looked. The inside was very nice for a stadium venue. With a seating of 18,000 plus you felt up close even in the back. We had sec 122 and our friends had 326. Given the difference in price I would say that 326 was as good a seat as ours. The only difference was 326 did not have cup holders. Everyone was nice and the lines moved fairly fast for the amount of people. Sound was good. Parking was not a problem. The had lots of free parking a few blocks away at the cox center or right across the street is a parking garage. It was easy to get to and get out of after the concert. Nice place to go.

This is an issue that Mayor Bartlett or the challenger Kathy Taylor ought to embrace. The Eagles concert last night was almost 3rd world in terms of ventilation. EVERY patron was discussing it and the staff was protecting the GM of the BOK, John Bolton like he was in the witness protection program when several asked to speak to him. They blamed the Eagles for wanting it warm but that was not the case in other venues where I have recently seen the same band. Finally; why not one single Tulsa or OK beer in the venue. Do we really have to give our money to out of state breweries when we have a growing craft beer movement here?

Before you attend ask them if they'll let you have AC!

As far as massive venues for major concerts and productions... this is by far the best in Oklahoma. There is plenty of parking, great restaurants (everything from killer sushi to BBQ), walking distance to a ton of hotels and other after show venues in Tulsa's downtown district. There are plenty of t-shirt stands, concession stands, and BATHROOMS on every level. I just recently saw The Eagles here last night, the sound was amazing and I was in the rafters, but there isn't a bad seat in the house.
